Downwinders claim info needed

My wife and her sisters are filling DownWinders claims on both of their parents. How can they provide proof of their parents address from 1959? The A.Z. tax dept has no records that far back. Social Security is looking doubtful also...

Any ideas?

Did they own or rent?

If they owned, then a real estate search might produce something even if the property tax people don't have the records.

Or... find a law firm that was involved in these suits. If no money, try a law clinic at a law school.

If I remember correctly, the Downwinders are all the poor people (test subjects, actually), that lived downwind of the above ground nuclear bomb testing in Nevada.

It's a large group, none of which are still alive.

Thanks guys. They both worked at a copper mine and died of cancer in their 50's. The more info we get the less the lawyers will charge.
