I read somewhere recently that American and Canadian beer have exactly the same alcohol content, it's just measured in different ways, hence the different labels.
Aha, here it is: http://www.faqs.org/faqs/beer-faq/part2/section-5.html It's measured by weight in the US, by volume in Canada and most of the rest of the world.

That all depends on which brand of beer your drinking. Cold Shots by Molsons is 6% per 250 ml while most brands are 5% per 341 ml. Old Stock is 5.65% per 341 ml (at one time it was 10.5%) and specialty beers can have up to 12%, Manitoba 200 was one of those. It all depends on what and why your drinking.

Doesn't drinking make the girls prettier? Always worked for me, Canada or US and especially Europe!
Otherwise, it just numbs the pain. |
