B&B were awesome. Wasn't part of their demise a kid in Ohio setting his house on fire or something like that after seeing an episode?

I don't think that caused their demise. They did have to refrain from glamorizing fire, or I think even using the word "fire."

Which lead to a great episode where they were working at the burger joint, and Beavis became infatuated with the french fry frier, yelling "Frier! Frier! Frier" over and over again.

Every time I hear Hank Hill, it's Mr. Anderson. I loved it when they messed with that guy.

I was in high school when I first found them on MTV. For whatever reason they were on in the morning, maybe 7am. I was late to school more than once because of this damn show.

The cornholio bit still gets me.

my parents banned MTV at their house because of beavis and butthead.

No, MTV just moved it to a later time. The lady whose kid did that was too young to watch the show or be left home alone. I'm pretty sure the only reason it ended was that he started King of the Hill

Cornholio was the best!
Me and my son used to walk around the house imitating him. Drove my wife nuts.

Awesome show. I fondly remember how hilarious it was when I came home drunk at night. King of the Hill is a huge step down.

Rico Suave!!!!!

I used to laugh till I hurt at B&B. Mike Judge is a creative genius. I've got some of the dvd's and still enjoy them occasionally.
