m21sniper: Well fortunately for you, you're big enough to jam some of these drunken harassers into a trash can in 2 seconds flat.

LOL.
Yes, that may be so, but I've lost far more fights than I've ever won.

I grew up with over a dozen tough uncles, they taught me the honor side of fighting. Something that most men lack today.

I like telling people my little story about how I've never lost a single fight to anyone bigger than me; now I'm a big guy so it sounds impressive. Then I add it's because I'm not stupid enough to fight anyone bigger than me. Ha! But if you think about it, it's true.

It's the little guy that you have to watch out for, I'd never take a swing at you Snipe!

A lot of little guys are also extremely tough (due mainly to lightning fast hand speed)

A lightweight boxer unleashing a totally unexpected flurry of punches can overwhelm any opponent in a matter of a couple seconds, pretty much regardless of size. Seen that happen quite a few times too.

I have always felt that anyone i could not beat up, i could definitely out run!

LOL.

I'm only ok fist fighting, but i've always had really good success taking the other guy down and getting a sleeper hold or some other hold on them then just hanging on until they go nappy time or tire themselves out. I've been told by a lot of big guys that little guys are really difficult to wrestle with because they're so fast and slippery.

Me personally, i don't ever screw with big guys unprovoked. LOL...ever.

I have been in several fights before. I have lost more times than I have won. I was a kid then, I just don't see the point anymore.

Not my strong suit. I'm 49 today so brawling is not my gig and I can guage my opponent very well. I'm not gonna get myself into another hospital run, trust me. 20 years of Rugby didn't help much either. All my life I was told, "You're Irish, now go kick that guys azs", I just believed it I guess?

WTF, I'm not one to hold back on pics......... my girls:
Wife with our 4 daughters, enough proof for ya boot?

The scenery in your neck of the woods is without parallel.

Don't worry, i do actually know how to be well behaved. Haha.

People just plain suck.

Go to a better bar. The local wine bar near here is great - it's either divorced middle-aged women, MILFs, gay guys or people just wanting a quiet place to unwind. I like the crowd (the gay guys don't bother me and some of them are downright hilarious). Good bunch, no obnoxious boisterous kids, no stupid overly-aggressive jerks, no walking hardons looking to blow a load in every single female in the place, etc. It's just a very chill, cool place to hang. And they've got a fireplace and a St. Bernard. How cool is that?

some people just have a likable face.. some others don't...
post a pic in a thread with a vote
let us tell you if it makes us feel like kicking yer @ss

personally, i don't get much people picking fights with me, i'm 32, 1m80, weigh 80 kg... out of shape
and i haven't seen the inside of a gym or dojo in probably 20 years. I don't generally schlep a hot chick around town, and i don't look threatening either...

Once got some road rage nut threatening me after he ran into me, and i was offering him to do the paperwork so his insurance would deal with it...
Just told him :

"go for it, start swinging, and make it count
I broke my jaw when i was hit by a horse at age 10...
i can take a hit from a jackass any time..."

That kind of made him think twice... and then he buggered off

I hear ya brother.
I quit Rugby at age 35 for that very reason, didn't want to but the young punks were kicking my butt! My team mates called me the old man, but after playing the game for 20 years I could out skill most. I coached for about 10 years after quitting. Aches and pains today

It might not be politically correct anymore and I might be sitting at the cop shop (again), but if someones got a punch in the head coming to them, you can bet your last dollar I'm taking the shot with very little hesitation as to the repercussions. It's the CODE that I grew up with, the code of the Irish.

Seriously, most tuff guys appreciate a good opponent It's the yippy little pricks that shoot off their mouths, get slapped and then run to their mommies (cops) that I can't stand.

Thanks! I'm proud and life is good

edit: Oh I just noticed what you meant about "miss coconut grove" Ha!
Yeah, she's the only kid that really took after my side of the family, funny too because she was named after my sister.
She definately has the guy magnet thing happening.

Dad taught her very well though........

i met my wife because i dropped a punk to the floor at a club. i only give 'em one chance. i also fight to win. i'll bite, kick, head-butt, kiss them on the lips, whatever it takes.

the last time i got into an altercation, i walked into a bar, and some guy body checks me before i am even three feet into the place. i swing him backwards over a bar stool and stick my finger in his eye and tell him "you be nice". that was the end of that. my brother had my back. i am 6'1" and i am the runt male in the family.

it seemed like everyone wanted to try me out in high school. i was tall, but not very big, 150 lbs. i started ending these things before they began by escalating right past the pushing stage.
