Can't watch internet baseball
I live outside of St. Louis. I get my TV with an antenna. The Cardinals are broadcast on FSN Midwest - available only on pay tv.
I don't want pay TV - had it for 20 years and finally got rid of it. I basically run my TV with a HD antenna and the internet. I download everything I want to watch and use a multimedia device (HD Tivo) to play it thru my system wirelessly. MLB.com offers HD baseball over the web but it is blacked out if you live anywhere within a few hours of St. Louis. I believe the blackouts are monitored by IP address, anyone have an idea to create an out of area IP that will fool the MLB.TV site into believing I live in Chicago or elsewhere?

You could always find a friend with a slingbox that they are willing to share.

That's an interesting idea.
Thanks for the tip.

You could try an internet anonymizer. I'm not sure if they would block those too, but they might.

Until you get yer pick-cher box set up, don't forget the time-tested trusty fallback option.

Success, got it working.
I am now able to watch the Cards play in HD on my computer. Next question, Any way to stream the live feed through my TivoHD box? I use a TivoHD connected wirelessly to my receiver and then TV. I use Pytivo and Steam Baby to stream and transfer videos. Of course I could hook up another DVI cable and go straight to the TV but distance / routing are an issue. Any ideas?

I thought not being able to hear or see anything about baseball was a bonus.
