Inns and B & B's

Anyone care to recommend good places to stay in New England while on a week long tour? By Porsche of course! Thanks

Where are you headed? There are many good places depending on how much you want to spend.

Stowe, VT, Woodstock, VT, Hanover NH, Manchester, NH are few good spots to visit, great hotels and B&B's in most locations. Many smaller towns have great B&B but just don't get much publicity.

If you make it up to the Maine coast near Acadia: Castine Inn on the Blue Hill Peninsula, or Kingsleigh Inn in Southwest Harbour on Mount Desert Island. I'd highly recommend the driving experience in this area.

I proposed to my wife many moons ago at the Middlebury Inn, VT

Also see Relais & Chateaux. Every Relais I have stayed at is wonderful.

Plans

Thanks for your help, I know it's a difficult question, but we have no definite plans other then starting in the Bar Harbour area then down the coast a ways then New Hampshire and Vermont. Actually starting out from PEI/Nova Scotia and we've got Maine covered as we've visited it many times, but not so further inland. Trying to avoid get caught with nowhere to stay at night as we're not into camping. Thought maybe there may have been some past rallys or tours through that area, so was looking for Porsche friendly territory. I should be able to find lots on line., Thanks again
