This could be cool with some street suspension

I have to get something going even though I have no money. Maybe in a couple of years. That'll give me time to plan, etc. I already bought the 1st book, How to Build a Race Car with a Motorcycle Engine.

I'm thinking poor man's Ariel Atom

I have seen a couple kit cars that accept a motorcycle engine... I'll see if I can dig up some links (but not sure I bookmarked any of them)

See your point there...Ever look at the Meyers that runs a Subaru engine? Man...should be pretty quick.

I'd think those tires would severely lack traction.

That is absolutely beautiful. I wonder if it sounds as good as it looks. And what sort of power does it have - and at what RPM?

Milt I am thinking and scheming just like you. It's all about less weight, getting to the Atoms power ratio is very difficult if I'll be happy with a ratio of a Ferrari or Z06. Are you thinking VW pan?

Have you considered a Lowcost Seven ? If you can weld your own frame, a miata engined Lotus clone would make a great project on the cheap.
