Orlando - what to do in one night
Going to Orlando in June for a tradeshow. Meeting a GF on Sunday before the show.
Question is where to stay and what to do? We'll have half a day on Sunday and half a day on Monday to play, then I've got to work. I've never been to Orlando, so your advice is appreciated

Erm, disney world?
LOL. There is a really cool rennaisance show in orlando too, and another one called arabian knights that's also pretty cool. If you have lots of loot, Discovery cove is mucho cool. You can ride a dolphin, and they have a really cool manmade cove. Really pricey and exclusive. I loved it there. And of course there's also sea world for the unwashed masses. |

The Boardwalk at WDW is free, and lots of cool things to see. Universal Florida is cool also.

Yep, I second "downtown disney", it's free and has some fun shops and good food, bars, etc..... the lego store has giant lego sculptures outside.....earl of sandwich has good cheap food (for disney anyway)
Also there Is a "cirque de soilel" (sp?) there but isn't real cheap, there's also a new hot air ballon ride which is less than 20, it's on a cable so you won't float away....haven't done it yet but is supposed to be cool. Depending where you are staying on I-drive there is a bunch of bars, shops etc but is pretty spread out, So downtown disney may be the place to go if you have no car....
