I like KFC, it is a couple-times-a-year pleasure. I've gotten rather ill a few times afterwards too, not sure why.

I work in S. America and there are all the big names there, kfc, church's, popeyes, pizza hut etc but no burger joints, the locals don't eat that much beef, its chicken that feeds the masses and they have a spicy chicken sam. @ kfc that is great, I eat about 3 a year, I'm kinda chickened out these past few years, of the 21 meals that your supposed to eat / week I would end up with 14 chicken meals, kinda gets lame after a while, I don't do kfc at home as I find it too greasy but I haven't tried it since the trans fat swap over. I ordered a meat lovers from pizza hut and got a chicken & spam pie with corn - Different strokes..................

everyonce in awhile i may dive into some popeyes. we have a good one nearby without the drive by element. 99cent two piece special. with KFC i get a stomach ache. i never feel good about it, after i eat it.

a few weeks ago, i experimented with some cast iron fried chicken cooked at home. i am homing in on a winner, but i am not there yet.

love KFC, scared to death to eat it. but do anyways.

the new 'grilled' stuff is good although the complete lack of claims as to 'less fat' etc tells me i might as well be eating the fried and battered version.

i did read that KFC SOAKS their chicken in msg and that is the secret.

have had fried chicken from local 'oh it's the best ever' joints and none of it has ever come close to kfc.

This is true, MSG puts me in the ER, well dehydration as a result of getting very sick from MSG. I have a big list of items and food chains that I have to stay away from.

You Tejas boys need to try Chicken Express. Mucho better than KFC. There are starting to be a few in OK and we hit them every chance we get.

We have em. It's good. Not fond of their fries/wedges.
