I stopped throwing up at around 7.00. I just ate a yogurt. So far so good. Thanks Rick.

I usually don't get them either, but it was offered from a friend, so why not. No lines, no paperwork...

the_webbster 12-05-2009 02:25 PM

Hope you're feeling better.
I'm off to bed.
Sinus' not good.

nynor 12-05-2009 02:53 PM

its snowing pretty mad here. almost a white out. i stretched the legs on the turbo just in time.

oh, and good afternoon, all!

livi 12-05-2009 03:13 PM

Get well, Dave. Probably not the new flu.

That is BS. I was sick once, I did not like it. I refuse to participate in sickness. I prefer health. Sick is against my religion. I ain't gonna do sick a second time.

Rick V 12-05-2009 05:08 PM

Not even in the head?

GH85Carrera 12-05-2009 05:15 PM

Well that is just an opinion :)

I thought I made a mistake once, but I was wrong.

It is not my fault I am perfect.

Sometimes my eyes turn brown from all the BS.

porsche4life 12-05-2009 06:02 PM

Whoa, Glens on a roll...

Get that 911 back on the road today Glen?

GH85Carrera 12-05-2009 07:50 PM

Not even close.

I did get the steering rack and turbo tie rods done. The brake calipers are a lot cleaner, ready for rebuild and maybe ready for paint. The old wheel bearing races are out. Next up is to get the new wheel bearing races installed in the hubs. All I have to do is figure out how to do that. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get the wheel bearing races pressed into a hub? The Bentley manual says heat the hubs to 300F and use the magic wheel bearing race tool and a press. There must be some other way.

porsche4life 12-05-2009 07:53 PM

I got a hydraulic press that will push them in... :D We can heat them up with a rosebud and press them in....

I need to get your cell #... I ended up in your area this afternoon... Went and looked around at Bob Moore.... Almost test drove a Cooper S at Bob Howard Subaru but the salesman was on overbearing SOB so I walked....

heat the hubs and freeze the races. then use a bearing drift and ball peen hammer to set the races. the races will need to spend about eight hours in the freezer, a deep freezer works best. the hubs can be heated for about an hour to get them all the way hot.

porsche4life 12-05-2009 08:50 PM

Or you can drive it one hour each way to the Johnson shop and we will heat them hubs up and press em in like magic... You'll spend more time finding the shop than we will working... We won't even put em in what is know around here as Kansas style....

Schumi 12-05-2009 09:59 PM

You guys would be really proud of me.... tonight I went to a big dinner party and only had two drinks over the course of a few hours and was the ride home for a few people, not the other way around.

I feel like a responsible adult for once.

nynor 12-05-2009 10:00 PM

how much do you usually have when you go out?

porsche4life 12-05-2009 10:03 PM

He usually drinks until he falls and cuts himself and doesn't realize he is bleeding... ;)

Schumi 12-05-2009 10:08 PM

That actually shouldn't be green text...

nynor 12-05-2009 10:12 PM

porsche4life 12-05-2009 10:14 PM

nynor 12-05-2009 10:47 PM

whoah. i had some crazy stuff happen while on DM, but none of it happened to me. i was just there to witness and look for teeth (not mine) and a bomb (again, not mine, but phoned in).

i drink a bit myself. too much. but only beer and wine. i've never had a whole fifth of liquor, like it seems you did in that other post.

porsche4life 12-05-2009 10:49 PM

Ya I had a pretty wild night once... But it just ended in a mess in my apartment...

Schumi needs to slow down...

Hey BTW What is the electron configuration for Cr3+?

nynor 12-05-2009 10:51 PM

pshaw.... electron configuration? i sucked at that even when i was in chem101, 12 years ago.

you can ask me questions about philosophy of religion and/or ethics. i have/had a much better handle on that stuff. my major was philosophy and i spent most of my time with those two topics.

porsche4life 12-05-2009 10:53 PM

I am in Gen Chem 1. AKA Kill the pre pharm kids in sem 1 to weed out the dumb ones....

sounds about right. there were about 300 bodies in the classroom. no kidding. i pulled a B+, by the skin of my teeth.

nynor 12-05-2009 10:57 PM

my only interest in chemistry is pretty much confined to 'how to make high explosives from household stuff.'

porsche4life 12-05-2009 11:20 PM

Damn sure is slow here tonight...

I think Dave is really sick guys...

porsche4life 12-05-2009 11:33 PM

Good on'ya Schumi. I'm with Sid that you need to slow down a bit.

porsche4life 12-05-2009 11:58 PM

How many kids have you got?

nynor 12-05-2009 11:59 PM
