Ha :D Haven't they all

Rick V 01-25-2012 02:01 AM

I have just been informed that the alarm across the room doesn't really work either.

Rick V 01-25-2012 02:07 AM

Ummm NO!!
I sleep with a loaded .45 on my night stand, I think that alarm clock would only get the chance to wake me one time.

Geronimo '74 01-25-2012 02:09 AM

it's not for you, it's for Beth.

On the other hand, if you start blasting your gun from the bed, chances are she'll be wide awake.... No need for an additional alarm clock...

Rick V 01-25-2012 02:11 AM

This may be a good point to remind you , Beth has her own gun, with a 15 round mag, and she knows how to use it.

Geronimo '74 01-25-2012 02:15 AM

I know she has one, I shot it.... (and it shoots better than yours... :p)

Rick V 01-25-2012 02:17 AM

Yes it is smoother than mine but it doesn't make nasty dumpster sized holes like mine does.
If you ever make it back this way, we are going to have to be at the range during daylight hours so we can use the rifles. I still owe you a shoulder bruise

Geronimo '74 01-25-2012 02:25 AM

I am contemplating it.
Probably in July, if I make it.
I was planning to visit the Westcoast though.
But a stopover in Virginia should be doable...

Rick V 01-25-2012 02:29 AM

You have done the east coast, you should see some more of the country. It does have a lot of rather spectacular things. I would love to take a 6 month long road trip to just see my country. It is a shame that people from other parts of the world have seen more of my country than I have.

Geronimo '74 01-25-2012 02:43 AM

Same goes for me too, I guess, and my country is a lot smaller than yours....

Okay she is cute

Geronimo '74 01-25-2012 02:52 AM

Still digging the short hair chicks.
I have this friend (girl), short hair (pornblond) and shaved the sides of her head... HOT! Too bad she's one of the guys.

Rick V 01-25-2012 02:56 AM

I have come to the conclusion that the "friends zone" was designed by a woman.

svandamme 01-25-2012 02:57 AM

Insurance just confirmed , the other dude with the Lexus is at fault for dinging Bimforce-1..
My record is still accident free!

Rick V 01-25-2012 03:02 AM

Good deal, now go run someone else over

Outback Porsche 01-25-2012 03:03 AM

Night guys SmileWavy

Rick V 01-25-2012 03:04 AM

RKDinOKC 01-25-2012 03:12 AM

Used to set my stereo to come on BLARING the alarms going off on Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Got to where I woke up just before the amp made this very quiet click about 3 seconds before the sound comes on.

Rick V 01-25-2012 03:16 AM

Bwahahahahaha, I tried that once with Black Sabbath's Master of reality. Didn't even think about that when I set it to wake me with Sweet leaf. Yeah that coughing make me come out of bed swinging.

Rick V 01-25-2012 03:26 AM

Y'all have fun I am outa here

Geronimo '74 01-25-2012 03:47 AM

USA road trip is definitely the way to go. Especially in a 911. I did two 911 road trips (see links) and one coast-to-coast trip in our DD (Vdub Jetta).

NOW GET OUT THERE AND DRIVE, RICK! :D

GH85Carrera 01-25-2012 05:48 AM

Yea, there is a lot of great open roads in the USA. Back in 2000 the wife accompanied me to a two week trip to Sacramento CA and back in the 911. We hit 12 national parks. Brice Canyon and the Zion are just great. She had never seen a Sequoia tree. You can explain that the trees are just huge but until you see one in person you can't grasp how big a tree can be.

Since that trip I have driven my 911 to San Diego, San Francisco and down Highway 1. Hershey PA, Chicago IL, Keystone CO. (The Rocky Mountains national park is just amazing.) Fort Worth TX, Charlotte NC, and Savannah GA. Not in that order. The Smokey Mountains have some great roads.

Overall I have done over 30,000 miles of road trips in the last 15 years.

Good morning guys.

Outback Porsche 01-25-2012 08:08 AM

I wish I was sleepy......it's 1:30 in the freaking morning, sleep should be what's happening!

Although, that is mesmerizing.......

Maybe a drink of Milo will help.......

I don't scare that easy. :)
Although that's about as much of a sixpack any girl should have. A bit less would be better.

Geronimo '74 01-25-2012 08:18 AM

Richard how come you can post animated gifs that are larger than 150 Kb??
Pelican seems to be refusing them when i try to post one.

What is truly sad is that the artist gets a pittance of the true value of this work, the mark up is horrendous. Most artists receive a few hundreds dollars for the commission, where the dealer will command thousands. And in these cases the artist is totally unaware of the rip off, and is mostly interested in where their next meal or bottle of alcohol is coming from. Because of this, I rarely support this industry.

Morning guys,

What is that art? I have nothing to judge the scale or even what it is made out of. I gather it is Aboriginal art?

Geronimo '74 01-25-2012 10:13 AM

Max,
Yes, aboriginal art.

Do it late in the year and come to the central coast... Houston. Party with me and Wolfboy.

I used to have this song as my alarm. Pretty sure my room mate would have killed me if I used it much longer, it was loud enough that it woke him up too...
