Ha, ha, ha! Thats brilliant! Do you plan on printing it and tape it to a hatbox? :D

Geronimo '74 08-03-2011 11:17 PM

No, I'm not even sure when she will see this one.
She reads this stuff now and then, so I'm hoping she'll find her cake, but I wasn't really planning of bringing a real cake to her. She moved and I don't even know where she lives.

Happy Birthday, Vicky!

By the way, is Vas your name? Not short for the recommended Fuchs cleaning treatment I suppose? :)

Yes its Vas.
My father is Greek Cypriot.
Mum is English Spanish.
The name has been a pain my whole life, I need to explain it all the time.
To make things worse, my family name is Filips with an F not PH.
Get this, my dad has the same name, but uses the english version, Bill.
Must of found it was a pain.
He then called me Vas, must be like a test.
Like "the boy named Sue"
What can you do!

slodave 08-03-2011 11:30 PM

You can do what Meatloaf did and change your name to a food... I don't think chicken is a good name though..

Good one G. :D:D:D

vas930 08-03-2011 11:38 PM

I dont eat meat, so something non meat would be good.

I do like Bear.

Geronimo '74 08-03-2011 11:47 PM

Most animals are made of meat, Vas....

Or do you prefer to be named after a vegetable? :D
Personally, I don't think there is anything wrong with just Vas.

Hey Tomato! I soldered a few more caps and two of the three rectifiers... Chassis is pretty much drilled. Things should start to go together soon.

vas930 08-03-2011 11:54 PM

If you slice your arm open, you dont say, look at the meat!
Flesh is referred to as meat when eating.

But I do get your point.

I will stick with Vas.

Good news Dave.
This is a complex project.
One must take time. ;)

.

Thanks, but I already knew that. ;)
In Spanish 'pez' is fish when it's swimming and 'pescado' when it's on your dinnerplate.
Or 'meat popcsicle' instead of 'flesh popsicle'... :D:D

My reply wouldn't have made sense if I said all animals were made of flesh.. :)

Greek/Cypriot/English/Spanish!

Whats your first, second, third.. etc.. language?

Well then, from here on you will go by name of Vas and you will not be required to wear a tutu.

Moon Unit asked her dad Frank Zappa if she could change her name.
He asked, what to. When she said Sunshine, he said no, you already have a silly name.

Geronimo '74 08-04-2011 12:25 AM

Good thing she wasn't named Dweezil..... (because clearly, that's a boy's name....)

RKDinOKC 08-04-2011 12:26 AM

The pen holder is Aluminum/Stainless Steel, and you can get one for $129 US.
