I wonder why that asswipe of a photographer didn't include that fine ass on the right in the picture...
Hasn't he heard about framing??

Geronimo '74 08-08-2011 01:26 AM

Black crowes, I saw them live many moons ago.

Looks great!

Rick V 08-08-2011 01:33 AM

Man, all that paper and plastic is going to make an awful noise at speed :D

slodave 08-08-2011 01:35 AM

I'm with Rick. You should really do something about that. Kinda looks funny too.

vas930 08-08-2011 01:39 AM

Well thank you Geronimo.
Dave and Rick, you cant drag me down today.
It looks awesome.

Rick V 08-08-2011 01:39 AM

That would have been the perfect time to delete the sunroof.

Yes it does and we are not trying to drag ya down. We just look at things from a different point of view............................the far side:D

Why?

livi 08-08-2011 01:46 AM

Looks great, Vas!

The sunroof delete option seems to be a very desirable feature with Americans. As I understand, with many models, most cars shipped to the states had a sunroof and those without are popular. Not least for tracking. Room for the helmet and all that.

Being 6-4 the sunroof makes it uncomfortable for myself so I always think about deleting them. The only way I was able to make Lanna comfortable for me was to replace the seats with a set that were 1.5 inches lower and relocate the steering wheel 3.5 inches further out. You see I don't get into a 911, I put one on. :)

Geronimo '74 08-08-2011 01:50 AM

Most of the SC's and Carrera's have a sunroof, not only in the US, over here too, and the rest of the world.
Non sunroof are coveted because they are rare and they don't have the extra weight on top.
The entire sunroof system weighs a bit and it sits up high.

Geronimo '74 08-08-2011 01:51 AM

I'm six foot, custom built to fit in a 911. :D

Rick V 08-08-2011 01:56 AM

One day you may get to prove that theory again. :)

vas930 08-08-2011 01:58 AM

Yep, I know about that Markus.
Here in Australia ,930s are a rare expensive car.
To remove the sunroof would wipe off some value.
I love the idea of no sunroof, all that weight up high
+ I am only 5f 10in :D:D

livi 08-08-2011 02:05 AM

Brilliant. My Carrera is hence a rare, coveted object! :D

Yours is a factory non sunroof? Then yes, it is quite rare. (as far as I know, at least.)
