Good morning fellers.

G-man, my grandparents had a wonderful rose garden that was in front of their house on a small rural lane in the 1960s. The city & county together decided that road needed to be a major road. They took the entire rose garden and most of the front yard for a 4 lane road. The front yard went from beautiful to a spot where all the litter bugs trash collected. I remember every morning grandpa went to the fence line and picked up a bunch of litter. I think that is why I hate litter bugs so much. I never litter at all.

Once a friend was riding with me and he tossed his Coke can out the window of my 914. I did not say a thing, I just turned the car around and went back to the spot, found his Coke can and put it on the floor of the car on his side.

amen. it really angers me to see a pile of cigarette butts that someone dumped on the road while waiting for a red light.

Completely agree. Vandalism and littering makes me furious.

Yea, I saw where some ash-hat emptied their ash tray right in the intersection. I figure the punishment should be the offender should be forced to eat the litter. Keep them in jail until they are done eating the litter. Especially if it is a dirty diaper!

And don´t get me started on dog- and horse piles.

i about came unglued when some nonce walking her dog off leash just blithely went on down the sidewalk as, first, her dog crapped on my wife's flowers and, second, took off after my cat. we had words. my neighbor had words with her. i haven't seen her on our street since. (she lives a couple of streets over.)

Our neighborhood used to find holes in our flower beds about a foot deep with a toad at the bottom. Seems my next door neighbor's dalmatian was digging down to the toads.

Only one neighbor ever complained, they had just moved in. The put a "anonymous" nasty letter about their flower beds being dug up and leash laws in everyone's mailbox. They also moved out within 6 months.

The dalmatian eventually died from old age. However, not before teaching my Golden Retriever to dig up toads. I now still have toad holes in various places around my yard.

you know, i don't care about dogs pooping on my yard. that is the way it goes. it does bother me when the owner is right there and leaves it for me to clean up. as for holes with toads in them.... i would probably find that amusing and fun, when i caught the toads and played with them for a bit.
