Back then, me and Stijn was in effect the only two active non American members on the forum. On account of the time difference, the two of us basically were the only persons posting during Euro daytime. One day I logged on and found myself all by my lonesome. Accordingly I shouted for Stijn to join in to have somebody to talk to. To my surprise the thread just kept going and as you can see under "replies" there are about 10 persons that have been very regular posters, making this thread a daily Pelican chat forum for this gang.

As it started by me calling out for Stijn, he is now named His Guruness of the Holy Grail of high end European beer and general Wisdom. Unfortunately, nowadays he rarely seems to grace us with his Guruness, allegedly occupied killing cats. :D

It's partly alive! Continuity tester shows a number of connections as good. That's a good sign. No fried parts from the soldering.
