I know, I wear helmets religiously on motorcycles... But on a bicycle, I don't ride aggressively, and I stay the hell off of busy streets. If I start riding all the time I will get a helmet, but as it is, back and forth to class, a helmet would just be one more thing to have to deal with on campus...

how would a brain injury be to deal with on campus. okay. i am done. i was young and really fkn stupid for a long time. you are on your own with the safety warnings.

FWIW, i wear my cycling helmet for rides around the block, leading my two year old on rides with his glider bike. yeah. really.

Listen D, I get it, and I know I should be wearing a helmet, but I don't really want to be dealing with it in my backpack at school, and I sure ain't leaving a helmet outside on the rack....

RKDinOKC 09-10-2011 08:37 PM

Back pack for laptop AND bike helmet

porsche4life 09-10-2011 08:38 PM

I could show you the scar on my lip from eating pavement.... Not that a basic bike helmet would have done much. :D

Stijn!!

Good afternoon guys. Just a quick howdy from the race track. I am done with my runs. Just waiting for the last group to finish. I figured out the perfect handicap for all the cars. Each ounce of water in the radiator adds 1/4 second for the lap. I get FTD :) since my car is the only air cooled car here today.

porsche4life 09-11-2011 01:25 PM

Chads 993 is air-cooled. ;)

porsche4life 09-11-2011 01:26 PM

Boston is a great city. We did the freedom trail today.
People are friendly and they all seem to think we're from Russia...
