think of it like this:

i just finished three 12.5 hour days in a row, with really sick patients and understaffed to boot. plus, i worked a 12 hour shift on wednesday. this makes a 50 hour work week, getting up at 0500, short about 0.5 to 1 therapist. two of us taking care of 24 patients, and responsible for the respiratory requirements of 34 patients.

yeah, i can't find my butt, because it is worked off. frankly, i am emotionally drained. much more than physically drained.
