Dave, they may be worth a try.
May give you a few tenths.
Not expensive.
Also try some good brake fluid.
It has transformed the brakes on my car.
50% better over stock.
Worth thinking about mate. :)

Brake fluid - check - though old now...

Pads.. Not really the issue as evidenced with the cording of the past tires.. ;) If anything, I'm braking too hard. For AX, the stock 911 brakes are more than enough. It's the driver, Vas.:)

Just trying to help. ;)

I see your not a big fan of cooking.
Another reason for a good woman. :D

I appreciate the help, I really do. In it's current configuration, the car can perform a lot better in the right hands. I tend to jump the gun and get fixated on certain "fixes", but in the end I listen to the right people and make adjustments to the car accordingly. :)

Ok, mate.
Improving the brakes is the most important thing you can do.
I will now let it go and shut up. ;)

Found you a woman!

In case you missed it... I've been cording my tires!! :D That's a sign of good brakes! :D

vas930 09-25-2011 01:18 AM

What do you think?

Do I need to come drive your car?

I'll bet I'm faster...

Just going off of the principal that you are always faster in someone elses car....

Yep, I hear she dresses like some Australians nightmare.
Not for you. :(

slodave 09-25-2011 01:24 AM

But seriously... You have a coupe, quite stiff..

The Targa, not so much. It's a different beast. The changes to my car are within line with the Targa.

Quit using the flexible flyer excuse...

Oh and as far as the chick? I'd make sure she didn't walk right for a few days....

Wow! That's some big azz balls you have there.

I can guarantee you that I'd trounce you... You have no idea what you are dealing with. You'd swap ends over and over.

You forget how tail happy my car is now dave... I'm getting pretty used to keeping ends from trading...

I'm sure it would take me time to learn the nuances of the 911.... But like I said, always faster in a car you aren't the owner of....

slodave 09-25-2011 01:38 AM

I'm just going to sign off now. Have a good night all.
