Well it does sound like a genuine allergy. Thing is, a lot of people get skin reactions from that kind of antibiotics (and others) that do not represent a true allergy. The rather short relapse time and the strong itch point to a antibody-related reaction, however. I would stay away from that type of antibiotics in the future (which I didn´t have to tell you, of course). Fortunately there are plenty of other types that do not cross react with this antibiotic.

Blue is great. I also considering slate gray or black. Silver is just too common.
