when engaged in dangerous activities, one must wear a helmet on one's head. which head is to be determined by the activity.

slodave 11-07-2011 08:57 PM

So, I should be wearing a helmet while using the table saw or jointer? That's just madness!

porsche4life 11-07-2011 08:58 PM

I intend at some point in my life to participate in an activity that requires a helmet on both...

well, there is an unstated common sense element to the rule....

porsche4life 11-07-2011 09:02 PM

According to OSHA, you should probably have on a hardhat...

slodave 11-07-2011 09:04 PM

Boy, some lawyer you are!

slodave 11-07-2011 09:05 PM

OSHA? Screw OSHA! This is a private shop. :D

porsche4life 11-07-2011 09:06 PM

That is our opinion too dave.... ;)

Flieger 11-07-2011 09:07 PM

Dave, how is that guitar neck constructed? I was wondering if there is a way to shim something or shorten something to get that truss rod in tension? Sorry for being ignorant.

I know I could search through your build thread but this is easier. And it gives you a chance to post more photos. :)

That parking lot hooker could have easily been an activity that required both helmets.

nynor 11-07-2011 09:10 PM

Lol!

slodave 11-07-2011 09:10 PM

Two for you and one for her??? :D

RKDinOKC 11-07-2011 09:12 PM

Someone even brought helmets made from 928 headlight buckets.

What kind of apparatus? Sybian? Sex swing?

nynor 11-07-2011 09:20 PM

oh, gawd, that is funny!

Flieger 11-07-2011 09:21 PM

I can't see any of his photos. Not sure I want to though.

Well, a very productive meeting with the attorney...productive on one front at least...
sitting back and waiting until I hear something from HR though...Attorney thinks it could literally be months before they do something...catholic church has a history of doing nothing and praying that problems just go away...said not to look a gift horse in the mouth as long as they're willing to keep me on paid leave...
I know the attorney TEB hired and I suspect he's chomping at the bit to make a move...he doesn't have experience with the church and can be a little overly aggressive...my attorney has a lot of experience with the church and says it's an entirely different approach than with any other entity...

RKDinOKC 11-07-2011 09:30 PM

Think the photos are hosted on rennlist, might have to be a member to see them,

Flieger 11-07-2011 09:31 PM

Wait, I thought this was an office job. How does the Catholic Church factor into this?
