Dave when we move you will have to come and stay for a while. Lexington was built just for you. Insane amounts of civil war history

slodave 11-22-2011 03:17 AM

Kris and I still think you two are making that up.... :D

I have to get back! Hopefully when Fall is in full effect as well. The history is great and so are the people, even if the tall guy's a Northern transplant. ;)

Northern by birth, Southern by choice

slodave 11-22-2011 03:22 AM

Dude, we're both Pennsylvania homies... :D

slodave 11-22-2011 03:25 AM

A little further South than you... But..

Awww, jeez.. I was just trying to show some Southern hospitality as well... SoCal, style.. :D

livi 11-22-2011 03:45 AM

You have a splendid day at work now you hear, Rick! :D

livi 11-22-2011 03:45 AM

And Dave, how about some sleep..?

slodave 11-22-2011 03:49 AM

Yeah! How about that sleep? :D

Screwed me up last night. I was supposed to get up at 6.45 to go flying - though, I had no responsibilities, so no stress... I did not fall asleep until around 8am after I was was to be picked up for the flight. I sent a text at 6.30, saying not to bother, as I was not going. :(

livi 11-22-2011 03:51 AM

Sleep is probably overrated anyway. :)

Dave, being the computer guru and all, can you answer the question I posted on the Fluffer Blues thread just now?

svandamme 11-22-2011 04:05 AM

youtub only tracks unique views.. re-watching the vid won't count.

slodave 11-22-2011 04:10 AM

I had to run in's with the local PD these last two days.. :(

On both occasions... These guys were the best. :) Two nights ago in a local store.. The cop was on break and buying a coffee at the local 7-11. Asked a question if he would sign off on my fix-it ticket - though I was not in the 911 at the time - He told me that LAPD cannot sign off on them... He said he wish he could.. Very nice... I dunno.. I'm sure I must have been a threat, with my long hair and beard... :D

Last night... Cop at the local "healthy" fast food Mex place... I was walking behind him as he was leaving... He held the door for me! The horror!!! My car was beyond his, so as we walked to our cars - I was still behind him - he obviously was really threatened.. ;) He could care less... I mentioned that my car was next to his and that he was more than welcome to go ahead and get in first.. Man! I thought he was going to shoot me! NOT! He said "Thanks, not in a rush".. I said the same thing... As he got in and left, he said "Have a good night, man".. :D I wished him the same.

Not sure what the whole problem with "POPO" thing is... I am the epitome of a stereotype and still. I never get hassled.

You do have the long hair and beard, but you're not really scary. (you don't look scary, but you have done some scary things in your past, i'm sure... ...:D;))
