w00t, primed my first cases on the Dillon.. learning one stage at a time.
decapping was 2 days a go
now i primed a bunch to get the feel for it.

i'll fire the primers off tomorrow, then i'll decap and reprime in one go

The thing is a bit finicky because the press wobbles a bit. It needs to be stable to work well.
hopefully i get the strongmount early next week so i can mount it up properly..

Already got powder and semi wadcutters, so hopefully i'll be fully productive in a short while

It makes me a bit nervous to see drivers like Flieger talk about how many 10ths they are running on canyon roads and tracks, but don't have time to autocross. Autocrosses are the best place to train your reactions so you don't have to think when those 10ths sneak up to 11 or 12 real fast due to traffic, or just a slick spot. My autocross trained reactions have saved my butt several times when just cruising along at 0-10ths and someone pulls out in front, or traffic suddenly stopped, or something very slick that you couldn't see was coating a turn.

I've been in some surprize tight spots (not in the canyons) and my reactions have saved me.

The most fun I have had while driving was at the Jim Hall Kart Racing School. When I got to day 2 and we did wheel to wheel racing it was the best thing ever. They even let us do more laps than normal since we were doing well. I was only 14 then. I would like to do it again someday but they moved the track so I have to start from the day 1 stuff and those courses are pretty expensive for us. There is also a similar deal at Willow Springs.

It was so exhilarating to feel the slide coming and catch it with a little bit of opposite lock and a mash of the gas pedal. I only spun a couple times. The scariest part was convincing yourself that a particular corner can be taken flat-out. You just keep your foot down and pray. When everything goes smoothly then you realize it is not so bad and you can do it every lap after.

Is there a way to download videos from Youtube to my hard drive? I do have Google Chrome if that helps any.

I want to save this. The audio goes out of sync for the second lap but it comes back later.

Good morning er afternoon. I got out in the garage at 8 or so this morning. I spent 4 fricking hours getting the old engine mounts out and the new ones in. Most of that was getting the old ones out. Grrrrr

Back to the salt mines. Next is the steering shaft swap.

Thought I was a great driver until my first autocross.

Glen, you got an impact wrench? I got an electric one if you need it.

I know I am not a great driver, but I feel I am "good enough".

So going to go watch her show if she ever comes round to Belgium..
What a voice and not what i would call fugly either.
but it's mostly the voice...Needed something to replace for Amy Winehouse, and this sure makes the cut.
Very much different from Amy , they don't even compare at all..But i like it.
