Hung a 6 foot wreath on the gable over the garage door.

It's less trouble than replacing the porch bulb being there is a fixture to open to get at the bulb and all.

Awww. Poor baby. Tape a maxi to it.

The car just passed smog. I think flogging it around trying to get the motor hot before the test might have done something. It's never leaked before. Grrr.

got about 6 pints of beer down the hatch, think i'll sleep in tomorrow.

Standard operating procedure for aircooled Porsche.

Good Night...and Good Morning

Just kinda perused the last few pages...

My 89 951S handily beat 930's on a regular basis at our Autocross Track. Even a Supercharged 3.8 RS America said I was the one to beat. And these were all very experienced drivers/track instructors that were used to getting FTD.

Heck I even made a RUF switch to stickier racing slick at the TRACK to beat me on street tires and I think that says a LOT. The the RUF driver was considered the fastest guy at that track.

A well setup 50/50 balance car is difficult to beat.

If you compare Porsche's quoted times for the 951S and the same year 911 Turbo, the 911 Turbo is faster to 60, but they both have the same 1/4 mile times. That means above 60 the 951S is quicker.

We shall find out on the day.
It should be good fun, thats the main point. :)

Stijn, I just did three long heats in the kart. My lower back muscles hurt like a muther trucker.

svandamme 12-03-2011 03:45 PM

That's nothing, you wait till tomorrow.

vas930 12-03-2011 03:47 PM

hehe, it takes a long time to get kart fit.

I know. I'm not looking forward to it. Multiple ibuprophen on board already, headed for a soak in a warm tub. Always worked when I stressed too much in sports. We'll see how this works.

We just drank more.

Noah930 12-03-2011 03:51 PM

Speaking of which, it's my office holiday party tonight.

(Same place as the office happy hour, Dave, but inside. Don't know if the ex-lingerie model product rep will be there, though.)

slodave 12-03-2011 03:52 PM

Speaking of that...

You really need to fix the blinds in your office.

I'm too lazy. It's all tangled up at the top. The ceiling in my office has got to be about 12-14' high. Those blinds drive me crazy.

svandamme 12-03-2011 04:05 PM

speaking of lazy, think i will be very much so tomorrow.

Thanks for the offer, but I don't work there! :D
