Did I mention that another person I considered a friend has been the subject if a federal RICO investigation. I certainly understand why he doesn't go around telling people, but I'm still a little uneasy.
edit: I'm uneasy because I know that he and another friend are planning on going into business together and I'm almost positive the other friend has no idea. I really don't want to butt in, but there are potential complications I think he should be aware of.

Personally, I don't care about it, all of the allegations were very white collar and doj dropped it when he left the company.

So you hang out with felons for fun not profit.

Holy smokes the mall is packed. It's as if people are standing in line just to give the salesclerks money. Shelves were picked bare. What recession? They actually had traffic cops in front of the mall and within the parking lot. Thank goodness LA wakes up late, and I got in by 11 am.

Why is it that whenever I've REALLY got to go, that's the time the drawstrings on my pants/shorts/trunks choose to get all knotted up?

GH85Carrera 12-26-2011 08:02 PM

Good evening guys.

porsche4life 12-26-2011 08:34 PM

Evening guys.... We filled the pickup with CNG tonight... Should go 200miles for about $15....

Flieger 12-26-2011 08:39 PM

How hard is it to find fuel? I know there is a station in my town for city vehicles, but I do not think it would be accessable to the public.

porsche4life 12-26-2011 08:40 PM

In OK, it is very easy to find...

CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) Stations

slodave 12-26-2011 08:46 PM

Easy to find here, too.

Jrboulder 12-26-2011 08:47 PM

$0.78 in OK but $2.55 in CO?

WTF?

porsche4life 12-26-2011 08:51 PM

Ok is one of the largest natural gas producers, and Chesapeake, is one of the largest natural gas producing companies in the world, and they are lobbying hard for CNG, and providing a lot of the start up money to give it the push...

nynor 12-26-2011 08:55 PM

ok, dave. i am getting annoyed with finding a replacement AMD CPU. do you have anthing interesting, INTEL?

slodave 12-26-2011 09:02 PM

I've got a Pentium 4 631 - 3.0ghz 800mhz 2MB Socket 775 CPU ...
I found a Celeron in the drawer last night, but I doubt you want that. :D
Another P4 SL6WK 3.0GHZ/512/800
Nothing on the new side.

nynor 12-26-2011 09:07 PM

it has to be dual core, at least....

sellers on ebay are asking more than what the damn things go for new on newegg. to replace the CPU i cooked with the exact same one, which is 3 or 5 years old, sellers are getting ~$60 + $13 shipping. that is just nuts. i've been building PC's for almost 20 years and i have never seen anything like it.

slodave 12-26-2011 09:10 PM

No dual core right now.
