no I get the car you get the red heads...

vas930 12-27-2011 03:06 PM

Yes its awesome.
I first saw this car racing at age nine.
It started my love of silver 911s.
I knew two owners of it.
Last time I saw it was at the PI classc races a few years back.
It was at the porsche stand for sale around $650000.
Last I knew it was off to the US.

Porsche-poor 12-27-2011 03:10 PM

with a price tag like that I could afford a red head first.

vas930 12-27-2011 03:15 PM

Well, its a one off.
Funny to see that price after watching peaple drive the hell out of it for so long.
Glen may know something.

Sorry for the car stuff.

Porsche-poor 12-27-2011 03:16 PM

no reason to be sorry. its a great looking car

Rick V 12-27-2011 03:20 PM

We are allowed to talk cars

Porsche-poor 12-27-2011 03:22 PM

yeah the bos said so.
I'd still want it to be blue but its a beautiful car.

Anyone on this thread remember Rdanes 911 transformation?

Rick V 12-27-2011 03:24 PM

I don't even remember what I had for dinner and I am still picking it from my teeth

Porsche-poor 12-27-2011 03:25 PM

Outback Porsche 12-27-2011 03:26 PM

Morning gentlemen.

That is a nice car

Rick V 12-27-2011 03:27 PM

Hey Jeff, and David aren't you younger then me?

Porsche-poor 12-27-2011 03:29 PM

44 but probably closer to check out time than you. Family history is not stacked in my favor.

Outback Porsche 12-27-2011 03:31 PM

Hey Vas,

I bought a fuel hose down with me. It's got a couple of 90deg bends in it. I'm looking for someone down here who does custom rubber fuel hoses, any recomendations?

Rick V 12-27-2011 03:32 PM

I will be 47 in a couple of weeks, and don't be so sure about beating me to the checkout. Bad family history and not exactly known for taking the safe route in most things

Outback Porsche 12-27-2011 03:38 PM

This is all a bit grim talk for first thing in the morning. Although I do wish my body felt like it did 20 something years ago. Not that I'd want to do the last 20 years over again.

Porsche-poor 12-27-2011 03:40 PM

lets call it a tie.

Rick V 12-27-2011 03:42 PM

Lets hope we are around for a long time so we can tick off a lot more people
