Always use a cigar or something like a slow burning fuse designed to light fireworks.

Yeah, but these won't go out when it rains. :D

What happens at 15 K? Does Wayne send me a bill on the grounds that i haven't been purchasing enough in his store lately (coz i ain't got no Porsche for it)?

svandamme 12-31-2011 03:47 AM

slodave 12-31-2011 03:50 AM

Happy New Year to all. All the best for 2012.

GH85Carrera 12-31-2011 07:06 AM

Good morning guys.

The last day of the year. Big deal. It is just another day. All that changes is I have to remember the 12 on the date line when I write a check. I only write a few a year by hand so it is not a big ordeal.

Noah930 12-31-2011 07:47 AM

Well it does mean you can start feeling guilty about procrastinating doing taxes for 2011.

svandamme 12-31-2011 07:48 AM

i looooove doing taxes, cause i got lot's of refunds awaiting me

Porsche-poor 12-31-2011 08:41 AM

Isn't that what February is for?

The guy two houses down from me keeps his Christmas tree up year-round. Granted he only lights it during December, but I can still see it through the front window for the other 11 months of the year. He's also the guy who looks like he's been putting in a front lawn and repainting the front of his house for the past 4 years.

Last night we had a rotisserie chicken I brought home from a local grocery store. Between the two cats and the dog, it was a feeding frenzy the moment the chicken hit the dinner table. Before we could even sit down to eat. One cat would jump onto the table. As soon as my wife shooed it away, from the other side the other cat would hop onto an adjacent chair to inch its way to the chicken. That cat would get pushed away by my wife, at which time the dog started sniffing around. Then the first cat. Then the other. From across the room it was kind of amusing to watch my wife shoo pets away left and right for about 30 seconds before I got the kids to sit down at the table and end it all.

nynor 12-31-2011 09:18 AM

good morning, guys.

i can relate to the pets sniffing around the food. the dog makes me nuts with this activity.

porsche4life 12-31-2011 09:50 AM

Thats why our pets live outside....

Outback Porsche 12-31-2011 11:35 AM

I've trained my dogs to keep a safe distance from the food and not watch you eat, so they sit or lay just far enough away and pretend to not watch you. You get little eye flicks in the hope you have something for them.
