yeah, it would. i drive my 944 year round.

i am close to bonneville. you have to drive past my house to get there!

nynor 12-06-2009 07:09 PM

hell, you could stay at my house for the weekend, if you can put up with my cantankerous arse!

GH85Carrera 12-06-2009 07:12 PM

So if Sidney drives past the middle of nowhere he will find your house?

Don't bother going Sidney, beer is available locally. Of course you are too young to buy it :)

porsche4life 12-06-2009 07:13 PM

Hmm... Have to come out there some time... You can't be anymore cantankerous than my father so its all good....

porsche4life 12-06-2009 07:14 PM

I'm sure there is good beer locally as well..... ;) You just need to ask the right person... :D

GH85Carrera 12-06-2009 07:24 PM

The good stuff is at the liquor stores.

I had one of these today. This is decent stuff.

The USA has finally started to brew some great beer. It is hard to beat Sam Adams.

slodave 12-06-2009 07:27 PM

What?!? Sam Adams!!!

Have you ever had a Fat Tire?

GH85Carrera 12-06-2009 07:38 PM

Oh yea. I lived on Fat Tire in Keystone CO this year at Porsche Parade. I loved the sampler packs. Fat tire is good stuff. I was grooving on Yingling in PA, Anchor Steam in SF. Man, now I need another beer.

Schumi 12-06-2009 07:46 PM

fat tire tastes like it's ****** name: a flat, rubber, tire. most likely found in a bog.

I started to get into the whole 'nice beer' deal, buying a lot of microbrew local stuff...

but I found that rather retarded, considering beer is my largest food group and it would run my bank account dry if I drank nothing but 9-10 dollar six packs.

Thus, right now, it's the Miller High Life 30 packs for 14.99$ for me. I have a pretty good amount of High Life Points... I'm saving up for either a cooler or bunch of t-shirts or something... can't decide...

GH85Carrera 12-06-2009 07:49 PM

I understand cheap beer. I prefer the good stuff. I drink either.

9dreizig 12-06-2009 08:17 PM

bang for your buck,, VODKA!!!
Nyor, are you out by Wendover ?? I"m in SLC all the time

You are 100% wrong on this... Get it at the source, not where you live.

john70t 12-06-2009 08:55 PM

Try a Rasputin or a Bigfoot Ale, with a Guiness chaser. Nothing light abut those.

pretty much. you have to drive past salt lake city to get to bonneville (unless you take the REALLY roundabout path).

but he can't get beer like mine, anywhere. if i may humbly brag, its the biz.

i have a blonde ale on tap. also have a raspberry/blueberry/blackberry ale based on the blonde ale (at about 7.5%, it is wicked strong). i also just made a porter and added coconut to it, a la maui brewing company's coconut porter, to be kegged in about 10 days.

i am thinking my next beer should be a strong wit ale.

so, if y'all can beat that, go to the liquor store!!! :D

porsche4life 12-06-2009 09:31 PM

Geebus man how much beer do you drink? Do you have help with all of those?

nynor 12-06-2009 09:34 PM

i drink a bit. but i have been a bit scared of the blonde ale and 'berry' blonde. that stuff is strong.

i guess i could use some help. keep in mind that when i say 'keg', i am talking about 5 gallon pony kegs. its a bit hard to keg 1/2 barrels at home. not impossible, but difficult.
