Now to have them painted or something.

I am thinking paint would look better than "something"

porsche4life 01-07-2012 04:56 PM

What color vas? Can you krylon them?

You can make that stuff look good.

vas930 01-07-2012 04:57 PM

hehe :D

The chap that painted the car is two hours away.
So "something" may be an option.
"something" can look good if its done well. ;)

Something sounds like it should be prefaced with "Hey Y'all watch this" or "Hold my beer"

I usually take Encinal going up. Towards the bottom, there's a right handed sweeper with a dip halfway in it that can be taken at speed. Makes the car twitch. Kinda fun. Encinal's very flowing, less technical.

Tuna Cyn: at the top of Stunt, instead of turning right to continue onto Piuma, turn left. That road is called Saddle Peak, but eventually runs into Tuna Cyn, which takes you one-way down to PCH. Then turn right onto PCH and catch one of the other favorites back up. (Or take a left and take Topanga over the hill.)

Little Sycamore is very rough (pavement). Cheese grater rough, or at it looks to be. It's narrow, and looks like it should be one-way. But it's not.

Perhaps you and your dad should try Angeles Crest. Up to Newcomb's Ranch for lunch and back. There aren't many blind corners up there. It's flowing enough that you can easily hit 70-90 mph through corners and still feel safe. Not saying you should do that if your dad's sitting shotgun, but if he can see through the corners it might not be as white-knuckled a ride for him. Plus you can stop off at Pro Italia on the way home.

"Something" is a man grasping at straws as he falls off a cliff.

I will make the drive next week.

Rick V 01-07-2012 05:04 PM

If you can find a rattle can silver color that is close, and you lay it down good, you won't notice.
