you sir are on the list!!!

Ok I'm over it. That was easy. Now put it in a box and mail it here and no one will see snow here again.

Rick V 01-19-2012 03:07 PM

If you want to pay the shipping you can have it, not a joke

Porsche-poor 01-19-2012 03:09 PM

No the rest of the people around here would hate me. If I had something like that it would never snow here again.
Then again I have to see a man about a broken snow shovel, seeing that I had to use it it must be broke.

Noah930 01-19-2012 03:10 PM

Free? I'll take it! I'll take it! I'll take it! SmileWavy

OK, not really.

Porsche-poor 01-19-2012 03:16 PM

LA get any snow? Ever?

You can come up and enjoy the fun up here. I would recommend the train as flights are cancelled and driving is impossible due to the idiots in 4x4's that don't get ice on the road.

In fact can I come stay there?

Most people around here hate me anyway, well until they need something then I hate them

LA gets snow about once every 80 years, it seems. Then it's gone by around noontime.

Sure, come stay here in LA. Plenty of Pelicans to do stuff with. I've been DD'ing the 911 for the past week while family was in town and they were using my regular car for tourist duty. I took a motorcycle to work yesterday. It's chilly at night, but sunny and 60-80 during the day.

Porsche-poor 01-19-2012 03:22 PM

Well I'm not one of them. Thanks for the offer but it would be another useless toy (wifes thoughts on the 911) to gather dust.

We get one bad snow event a year.

Rick V 01-19-2012 03:23 PM

We usually get several snows a year, usually the day after Pete drives through here

your new job is to make sure he does not drive any where near here or there.....

Pay well hot chocolate with mini's

Noah930 01-19-2012 03:28 PM

If you're here from April 12-14, consider spending a few days to take in TRE's Targa California. I'll be camping with the family that weekend, so I can't go. But I went last year. A spirited drive through lightly-traveled back roads of Central California. Gorgeous scenery. Great roads. I stopped by for an impromptu roadside pee at one point. The sound of 911s, 240Zs, and 510s was fantastic as they zipped through a bucolic valley. Then I was back in my car to chase them down.

Although you do know he is laughing at the rest of us when we get a foot of snow, that is a light dusting for him

Porsche-poor 01-19-2012 03:43 PM

we have had from 4" to 20" depending on your location or so the talking heads tell us. Then the freezing rain now more snow. All in good fun. I should go thrwo snow balls at the nieghbors house.

Flieger 01-19-2012 03:46 PM

We are supposed to get rain starting late tonight/early tomorrow and lasting through Saturday. We need the water, but I wish it would wait for my classes to be done for this week so I don't have an obligation to go out in it so much.
