Just found out that my landlord passed away... He was a great guy... Very very involved in the community... Guys family had millions but he still drove an RX7 that he bought new in about '87. But when the rotary club was building a new building for the Scouts he and his family funded most of it...

that sucks Sid, how old was he ? (when you get older you always want to know how old, was he healthy ? all that stuff)

Mid 60s... Still fuzzy on the details... Will know more in the morning... Hearing that he had had a seizure which caused him to have a car wreck on Monday and has been in the hospital ever since....


He was just an awesome guy... Had served towards the end of 'Nam in the NG training Marines here stateside...

I'll start a thread tomorrow or saturday when I know more....

Good news is that Sidney now gets to live rent free. Bad news, the neighbors....

Ya... Still not sure how that will all be handled... It will either go to his son in law... that I don't know... Or his brother... Who is a cool guy too... Just don't know if they will be as straightforward with the neighbors... Mark pretty much told them to straighten out or he would kick them out....

explain to your new landlord what the situation was and how the previous landlord was handeling it, maybe he'll see it the same way...

Like I said it will be one of his family memebers... So it shouldn't be bad... They all worked in the same office... They should have a clue... His secretary knew anyways... And she is who was running the show....

No... the rent was paid to him... It was just taken buy his real estate office and given to his secretary...
