evening Gents,
Congrats on the 50K millstone, oops Milestone!!!!!
Thought we would have "Pusha" the 911 (as in that's the only way she has moved for two years) actually moving under her own steam today, had planned to take her for a run up the highway (with dealer plates no rego atm) but she wouldn't play the game, started vrooooommm, then die, started vrooooom then die, just wouldn't idle, wouldn't keep running, checked fuel pressures iaw the manual, no problems there, checked everything we could think of, but bugger me, she just won't keep going, something wrong somewhere. This is after getting the engine in and finding that it had no oil pressure, shut her down fast, started diagnosing and found that the internal oil thermostadt was rotated 180 degrees, wtf, lucky we didn't keep her running, the engine was supposed to have been fully reconditioned, cost enough, apparently they had some dh put it together. So not looking forward to working out what is wrong with the fuel feed. Hubby not happy, actually hubby really pi55ed off, don't know what he is *****ing about, I paid for the engine!!!!! Anyhow, sitting back watching rugby now, home not thinking about car fuel problems.... yeah right!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
wish I had a pet!
oh wait a minute I have one, he is called Steve, the hubby!!!!
I am so funny sometimes, lucky he doesn't get on the laptop and get into the man shed!! |

A Victorian prospector could spark a new gold rush after he found a gold nugget worth $120,000 — one of the largest discoveries in recent times. The prospector, identified only as Caz, made the lucrative find under an old riverbed in Ballarat by using a metal detector. The gold, which was found inside a 4.8kg hunk of quartz, is believed to weigh close to 76 ounces. With recent economic turmoil sending the price of gold to $1600 an ounce, Caz was overjoyed but keen to keep his identity and the location of his prize discovery a secret. A week after his find Caz dug up a smaller nugget worth $20,000. Caz told the Ballarat Courier about his excitement at finding the larger quartz piece. ''As soon as my finger tips wrapped around the rock and I started to lift, I knew it was way heavier than just stone, '' he said. Ballarat's Mining Exchange Gold Shop owner Cordell Kent said the find had prompted hundreds of others to take to Victoria's gold fields. ''The gold rush is still on,'' Mr Kent told Nine News. Recent technological improvements in the equipment used to track down gold have also contributed to a greater interest in prospecting. "The newer technology is giving a greater depth and obviously the better depth you have the more chance you have of finding something," said Mark Day, a spokesman for metal detector manufacturer Minelab. |
You're killing me! :D

Popped out for a beer run. Ran out of Helgas. Happy now except the first one I grabbed is frozen? WTF!
Heya Azzy, how's miss Daisy coming along? The sluice looks good Dave but there's no water here to run it. When I lived down south we used to camp up in the mountains above Sale. We'd sit in the Dargo river and pan. The water was snow melt most of the time so you could just sit a six pack of tinnies in the water beside you and be set for the day. We got a little vial of gold stashed somewhere. I've still got my pans somewhere too. |
I can type raster than I can drink

Upon further research a decent tube pre really wakes up the 212 when it is used in a pure slave application. and hey for $100 the 212 will do just fine. :) |
I'm not complaining. :)
