I'm going retro. I'm done procrastinating and am going to finish my pilot's license.

After that, I need to make a box for my tube amp, then I am going to start gathering pieces to make a stereo tube amp for my, uh, stereo. I'll also start gathering bits for my tele project.

Can you still get the Hafler kits?

I have no idea. I'm going to scratch build.

Hehe. I enjoy it. I'm also at a point where I have the skills to do it. I can't make a pretty metal chassis, but I can hide the ugly ones in pretty wood boxes. I also like the challenge of trying to build something like that for less than what it would cost in a store. The tubes are the most expensive part, the rest is dirt cheap and of good quality.
