It is a beautiful day here. Very mild winds of only 30 to 35 MPH and clear blue sky.

I dug the car cover off of the 911 and backed it out of the garage and took a little drive. I can get on the turnpike just over a mile from my house. It has a nice 270 degree curve and up to 70 MPH legal but 80 is pretty much the common speed. I drove a few miles and got the engine warmed up. There are lots of fun on ramps around my area. Almost everything else around here is just a straight road.

Dang that is a fun car. It still makes me grin like a kid in love even after 16 years of ownership.

I did get my El Camino washed, and my wife "let" me wash her car. She did help wash her car but I was on my own for the Elky. The 911 was all clean and pretty sitting in the garage under a car cover.

Now that would have been an EPIC 50K post.

Since the price of gas has been going up daily I went ahead and filled up the 911. 13.58 gallons was $50.66 ($3.72 for premium) I expect the price of gas to be $5. per gallon by the time I driver out to drink a Nynor home brew in Salt Lake City this July.
