Wow some companies have huge sets of balls. I made two separate orders from AR15outfitters.com and the first one was fine but the second one was all wrong. They have ignored my emails, and have made no attempt to make me a happy customer. So now being a former customer, I receive an email (automated) asking me to review the first order. I hope they don't actually read the reviews, and just post them. That would be too funny.

evening Gents!

can't talk for long UK Top Gear just came on, so funny, new episode.

Went to a school seminar tonight, David is in year 9, and they are getting iPads for school work, they were talking about how they were going to use the iPads for collaborative schoolwork, and the teachers will be learning as much as the students, that the innovative ways they will be utilizing the new technology, etc etc, and I am sure all the boys (boys only school) in the room heard was blah blah blah blah blah blah iPad blah blah blah blah iPad. lol

Will be interesting how they go, I can see that it will be quite a good interactive learning tool, as long as the boys are taught how to get the most out of the immediacy of the tool, the ability to make notes, interact them with other references, download other information dealing with the subject matter, photos of what is being done , record the lessons, video experiments or school/class presentations.

We shall see, and of course there is always the matter of them having to look after the bluddy thing, if it is damaged or broken or stolen, the cost will be added to our school account, sigh. I knew there would be a catch, there always is, they say we should add it to our household insurance, but after having already putting in claims for two pushbikes and a laptop being stolen from said school when older son was a boarder, I can tell you that the insurance company did not pay out for any of it. Exclusive access, the item must be secure and the user must have exclusive access, otherwise the item is not covered, I am afraid that having it in ones schoolbag is not considered exclusive access, especially when you are at gym or afterschool sport etc, sigh, screwed again. Need to lock it around the said childs neck!!!! But what can you do, they need it for school. Bend over and take it like a ....... parent.

My rant for today.

Hubby has a job interview tomorrow, hope he gets it, same employer DoD, just different location. Fingers crossed.

night all

Had a similar problem getting rid of Nortons a few years back when work went to Trend suite of virus software, and we all got free licenses for home use, took me a couple of days to get rid of Nortons, bluddy awful.

I remember living through that era, and my parents being absolutely feaked out by the "long hair" my brother started to grow his hair, and my Dad hated it, kept trying to get him to use Brylcreme to control it and brush it back of his forehead, so he could see his eyes, so funny now. If I could go back to that time and let my dad know that in about 5 years my brother would look like a later 70's version of George Harrison he would have really had something to freak out about.
