Last night at dinner I had a nice beer I had never had before. I had never ever heard if it before. http://img.tapatalk.com/440c8a74-27d2-1763.jpg

It was a very dark and tasty beer.

Vas, 993 ducts, 993.341.083.00 (L) and 993.341.084.00 (R) You can zip-tie them in place or weld some tabs for better control of the air.

Never seen that beer, Glen.

Dave, what car did he fit them on?

slodave 03-10-2012 08:43 PM

A 84 cab and 84 coupe. I asked if it will work on a turbo and he says "no problem".

You're a short hood. Not much should be different under there.

Thanks, Dave.

Huh, I've never heard of that one either.... where's it brewed?
I had one of these earlier today with a huge cut of steak for a late dinner

Vas, a quick check on parts shows that we share the same front end. The 993 parts are about $30US. (each). I think that is cheap enough. :) One of the guys running them prefers the zip-ties, but he is pretty much track only and says it helps when mowing the lawn. The other doesn't really track the cab so much. He has a nice GT3 instead.

Great info, Dave.
They sound like they pull air from under the car without the hose ducting to the front of the car.
Thanks. :)

slodave 03-10-2012 09:09 PM

This was another piece of info for the install.
"You'll want to remove the front and rear splash shields to make them work and for better cooling."

vas930 03-10-2012 09:12 PM

Ok, you the man. :)

Cooking up a storm here, Dave.
Scalloped potatoes and veg.
You up for a beer?

slodave 03-10-2012 09:18 PM

Sure, why not. :)

vas930 03-10-2012 09:22 PM

Cheers,Dave.
and I found a good thread in the track forum on the 993 set up. :)

slodave 03-10-2012 09:23 PM

Cheers, mate.
From Steve Wong?

vas930 03-10-2012 09:29 PM

Great man!
Steve is never wong. :D

slodave 03-10-2012 09:31 PM

That's who I was asking. :) We AX together and hang out on other local runs. He's my rival when he AX's his cab. Always giving each other ****. :D

vas930 03-10-2012 09:39 PM

Sounds like a nice dude.
You only hear good stuff about him.
