Weird...My next door neighbor is a lawyer that has been working from home since I moved here. I've thought he was a little strange as his garage door is always open, the garage is full of junk not cars, he mows part of his yard and leaves the mower where he stopped, he is always working on something on his cars. Now that I have been working from home for a while I've noticed my yard/garage/working on cars habits seem to be gravitating towards his.

I just hope I never find myself vacuuming the yard like he does!!!!

hey guys. i am back after three days of 12+ hour shifts. i have a rare (has it ever happened?) weekend off. some scheduling snafu occurred and here i am.

as for the rest of you, i am enjoying the new go fast chips in my 951. (the engine may blow up, but i'll have a smile on my face right up to that point.) oh, and it beat out my friend's new mustang, with 300HP and 320TQ from 60MPH. it was glorious. from a light, however.....

Staying with family tonight. I love this bunch. Mentioned taking a pistol class. So we had to go shoot two XDs and SW M&P

some twat poured mt dew red whatever the fk all over my 951 last night. i suppose it could be worse: the could have broken a window, or poured paint all over it, or i could have left a window open and had a puddle of that goat saliva all over my seat.

anyway, the trip up the canyon was nice, on jezebel, despite the cager that tried to run me off the road as i passed them. that was fun, let me tell you.

Congrats on getting the cars inside. It always amazes me to see a garage full of a hundred bucks worth of crap, and a $30,000 dollar car sitting outside. I see it in all sorts of neighborhoods.

Main thing was all the boxes of stuff from moving my office home to my home office instead of the garage. The stack of tires I bought that came shipped in a Rover did take up a little extra space though.

Now ya see, I am the smart one here. I only have a single car garage. :)

I have a 3 car garage, with 3 cars in it. The "crap" is stored in the 12x8 storage building in the back yard. Lawn care equipment and gardening stuff is all in the storage building. Only the good stuff is in my garage.

By the way, I am a broken man today. One of my best friends came home from Germany this weekend. Took the Hansa Scuderia racing course at the Ring last week AND picked up a new ride. A brand new GT3! I have been driving it all day yesterday. What a complete treat. I have never felt safer or more thrilled at high speed. I also crushed my old top speed record. On a piece of completely deserted highway I reached 287 km/h before I chickened out. The funny thing was that I felt completely safe and calm. Its so very planted. And I am so very envious. There I admit it.

My heart bleeds for you. Spending the day driving a GT3, yea I feel bad for you. You better take the day off and rest.

Kissin Kuzins means you are far enough familially removed that your offspring shouldn't be any more messed up than they normally would be.

Markus, can't imagine the driving the current, out of the box racing model Porsche at speed not being a life changing experience.

The best thing you can say about a Porsche...."It's Mine!" Almost as good of a commercial as "Kills Bugs Fast."

The second best thing to say about your Porsche is "it's paid for!"

That is one reason why I drive a 25 year old car. The cool part is, it is worth 100% of what I paid for 13 years ago.
