That boxster has a salvage title. That kills a lot of resale value right there. And it's a chick car :rolleyes:

As long as it is bought cheap enough I really wouldn't worry about a salvage title.... Its a driver... not a collector car....

Means a number of things.... Wrecked, stolen, been swimming... Most likely wrecked and rebuilt...

Usually it means some insurance company considered it a total write off. It would cost more to fix than it was worth. As soon as they pay off the policy holder the car belongs to the insurance company. They don't want a car so they sell is as salvage.

I have seen some scary cars that are "salvaged." Unless I knew the complete history of what and how it was fixed I would never touch a salvaged car.

Many cars that have an airbag deployment are totaled because it cost so much to repair the airbag system properly.

If it hasn't been swimming... and I can tell it was fixed right... I'll buy a salvage car if the price is adjusted accordingly.... If I just want something to drive....

In other news... I met my future landlord... I will be living in one of his duplexes in the fall...just not sure which end and when I will move in... Depends on the current tenants.

The only time I had a room mate it worked out perfect. We were both laid back and relaxed. Our schedules were perfect. There were times we would go for a week and not see each other. We both made regular beer runs so neither of us ever came home to a empty beer refrigerator. Neither of us left a big mess in the kitchen.

Yep A/C on the Rover is working great. Just a couple of fitting leaks fixed and a 134 recharge. Time to start cleaning.

Richard I'm not sure what you mean.... I'm doing routine maintenance on the 944 and upgrades.... the CDI on the Honda is the result of being a 20yr old dirt bike.... just rattled the solder joints loose....

They are fun cars, this one is going on the block soon.
