This X-mas spirit thing is getting out of hand.
Boris & Bubba normally have their separate places to take a nap, Boris usually has the table, Bubba usually has the couch...
whenever one crosses over... there's a fight.

today, i suddenly notice Bubba lying next to Boris, on the table..And they stayed there both for the rest of the afternoon.

Either they finally figured it wasn't worth fighting all the time, or Alfa has finally been established and one of the two is now the b*tch...

that's why i make sure they are well fed and know who it is that delivers the tasty treats.
Especially Boris on the right can be bought at any time with food... Food, is his #1 and only priority...
Bubba on the left is more demanding... he does like food as well, but he's more picky, and doesn't value it at 100% weight like Boris does

Rick V 12-26-2009 11:19 AM

Dude, there is meat on your bones.............................just sayin.

svandamme 12-26-2009 11:24 AM

true, but they prefer cooked meat:
roast beef, ham, salami, meatballs and chicken curry....
As long as i deliver on time, i live another day

I spent a lot of time in the garage this weekend. It was wonderful to spend the day in a warm garage as a blizzard blows outside. I got a lot done on my suspension. I celebrated with one of these.

What is the deal with the left hand logo on the bottle caps? Does that have some hidden meaning?

Embraer 12-26-2009 06:03 PM

The history of the Brouwerij De Koninck began in 1827 when Joseph Henricus De Koninck bought ‘De Plaisante Hof’, a coach house which stood on the boundary between Antwerp and Berchem. On this site there stood a stone boundary post with a sculptured hand. This boundary post can still be seen today opposite the Brouwerij De Koninck, on the corner of the Prins Albertpark and the Albertlei.

Joseph Henricus De Koninck died very young, and his widow, Elisabeth Cop remarried in 1833. Her second husband was warehouse foreman Johannes Vervliet, who decided to convert the coach house into a brewery under the name “Brouwerij De Hand”, after the sculpture on the border post. The hand has been immortalised since then in the brewery logo.

Ok I am impressed. Did you use Google or did you really just know that? The bottom line is it is a pretty good beer.
