After 5 hours of stuffing around.
I have passed the noise test, just.
You guys would laugh your ass off if you saw the muffler I needed to pass this test.
Poor old turbo dont run to well with it on. :)

The storms blew by again. No big deal just some t-storms. I talked to one of our customers that lives in Weatherford and he said the tornado that hit them and killed 5 people hit a small area about three blocks long and did little other damage.

Still looking for opinions on the wheels.

Thanks Rick Stick and D, so far.

Probably sounds bad as well.

What is the DB limit there? It must be low of a turbo has problems passing.

I would go with the stock look. The all black just wouldn't look right....

Learn how to be nude comfortably to avoid embarrassment. There are times when you will want to be nude, such as when you are having an intimate moment. You may feel you can't fully enjoy such an exciting time if you dread being naked. Of course there are things you can do to make yourself more comfortable until you relax enough to reveal yourself with pride.
Try sleeping nude. Sometimes when you are alone in bed try sleeping nude. This will help you get use to being nude and it will also make you more comfortable about being naked in front of your significant other.
Try to become more tone. You may feel more comfortable about being naked if your body is in better shape. Don’t start a strenuous workout if you are not use it, you need to discuss that with your physician, but you can try walking to get your body in better shape.
Dim the lights if you are planning on being nude. Instead of using the bright lights when you are expecting company, use a lamp or candles. She will not mind you trying to be romantic and with less light on you, you with be more comfortable and able to put your focus on pleasing her.
Wrap a towel around your bottom half. She will think you look sexy and more enticing with a towel wrapped around you. Just slip the towel off when you slide into the bed and she want be none the wiser of how uncomfortable you feel about being naked.
You need to build up your self-confidence. If you give your confidence a boost you will become more comfortable and at ease about being nude.

Ummm....

This is a little awkward.

I would like to be more toned. I don't work the right muscle groups in my usual workouts but I've been trying to do more situps and pushups. I hate the gym but it would be nice to have benchpress equipment and stuff like that.

I feel I am sufficiently fit, I just have a little extra flab that is persistent. Hiking and cycling does not seem to get them unless I really go at it.

What brought this on now?

I think the wheels would look great, but what do I know......I own an evil Jag and Landy SmileWavy

vas930 04-19-2012 08:09 PM

hehe, sorry Max.

Yes you did, and I thank you for it.

Looks like I am on my own with the all black thing.
Dave, what do you think ?

GH85Carrera 04-19-2012 08:09 PM

Vas, my personal opinion is black wheels look ugly. They just disappear unless the car is stopped and the wheels are in the sun. Of course I admit I am prejudiced. I have wheels that are color matched to my white car. Factory OEM.

This is my car with a little digital editing.

Instructor liked my Steppenwolf shirt. Mentioned some stuff about them before the movie. Afer the 1966 hit musical acts from Ed Sullivan were over I told him how I saw them live last year and then got onto Monster and the war and all that. He is like my Dad (one year older) in that I can get him going on and on about all the stuff that happened then. Especially 1968 and 1969.

I love this class. :)

I'm definitely not a fan of the all-black, space saver spare look. There are exceptions, but maybe only 1 out of 10 cars looks good with all-black wheels. 9 out of 10 guys here on Pelican running all-black wheels on their 911s have cars that look cheap. Those seem to be the same guys who love the whale tail look on narrow-bodied cars. Doesn't always look bad, but there are only a few exceptions, IMO.

Even a silver rim barrel (anodized or polished) with black centers looks OK. All-black, not OK.

In general I'm not a fan of the color-matched centers, either. Too much red/white/yellow brightness in most applications. Sometimes it works, but other times it looks too 1980s Miami Vice. I think my car (Venetian Blue) is one exception to the no-color-matched-center guideline, though. Possibly because the Venetian Blue is not a blingy color. (That being said, I have RSR finished wheels right now.)

Sorry, I admit I have a mental block on that.

porsche4life 04-19-2012 08:12 PM

I've noticed....

I dig the color matched look... Tried to score a set of color match fuchs for the 944 once but struck out... Now its not in the budget....

I do like my white wheels. But I admit I fell in love with my car as soon as I saw it. After 16 years of owning it I still love it.
