My dad just called and told me I caught a squirrel. Looks like I'm off to go relocate it now.

OK, gotta stay determined.

Not to my house, you don't. We've got some crazy lady in the apartment bldgs at the end of the block who feeds the squirrels.

You go to college in California. Other than maybe the Playboy Mansion, that's a fairly target rich environment. It shouldn't be too difficult to stay focused on the task at hand.

You sure Alarick? What's one or two more squirrels? They like gourmet food!!

I just need to keep forcing myself to be more sociable with them. Well- I mean to approach them. If they came up to me and talked that's easy. It's the asking them first that is the hard part.

All 3 of our pets love squirrels, if you know what I mean.

My cat is getting old and lazy but he used to love them.

Camber has brought me a rabbit, a bird, and an opossum, but no squirrel.

You know one year they had a bunch of booths set up all along perimeter road with all the clubs and Greeks. I think it was freshman year. Since then I have only seen a few Greek booths which stay up longer now. That first thing was just one day. I don't know what happened to that. Maybe I just am not here when that happens or just disregarded that email.

So I had emailed my friend yesterday about introducing me to her friend but I have not gotten a reply yet. I emailed since I had to take a test and didn't have time to chat that day between classes. My friend does not check that email much I guess. Her other replies took a while as well.

So it looks like I gotta do this on my own tomorrow afternoon.

Does your friend have a phone? Faster to call then email. :)

And if all fails, Max, saying hi is really not that hard. Don't strangers say hi to you every day? Think of it as the same. The bigger deal you make of it, the bigger deal it is. Get it? You can do it!

In the end, it's always up to you.

Smile, be confident (at least that's what the chicks say), and chat her up. Don't make too big a deal about it, and just see where it goes. If it works out, great. If not, don't sweat it too much, either. There are a bazillion chicks out there to meet, in SLO and the rest of wherever you will go.

Yeah, I prefer it this way, though it is a little harder. I just figured I would send the email since what else am I gonna do waiting until I have that class next?

Neat. You don't get to see that too often out here. Although sometimes in the summer you see them far away in the mountains.
