We have two Dachshunds and they have a doggie door. They usually have no problem getting outside. Our male dachshund is now blind and he sometimes gets lost and just starts roaming around. That is a good time to just pick him up and put him at the doggie door. That seems to reorient him and he can get around OK.

A doggie door would be handy. I need it add it to my to-do list for the house.

I have two contractors coming over today to bid on a couple of projects here at our western outpost. I'm doing some electrical work, and trying to figure out possible kitchen designs for my wife to consider. Also need to measure the back yard slope so I can plan a retaining wall. Busy busy busy.

GH85Carrera 05-02-2012 06:13 AM

Retaining walls can be a lot of work.

One more post and we hait the big 60K. I have nothing profound to say so I will let someone else have it.

I had spam, eggs, and pancakes the other morning. There's actually a restaraunt here with multiple dishes offered with spam as the "meat.". Pics to come later... :D

What a wierd morning. I just heard a jazz interpretation of Edgar Winters' Frankenstein on the radio.

Porsche-poor 05-02-2012 06:57 AM

Naa, that is geeky cool.

I was just razzing Rick about that coffee maker. Heck he does not even use it, he just has to look at it.

Jim Richards 05-02-2012 07:28 AM

As promised :D

Jim! That looks delish! I love spam! I have a spam cookbook. :)

GH85Carrera 05-02-2012 09:21 AM

I don't think I have had spam in years.

GH85Carrera 05-02-2012 09:48 AM

The type of spam in the picture, I get several spam email messages per day.

Jim Richards 05-02-2012 09:55 AM

The spam breakfast I had was at a breakfast-lunch joint on the Pacific Coast Highway. First time I've eaten spam since I was married. Mmmmm. :)

GH85Carrera 05-02-2012 10:07 AM

As kids my mom fed it to us all the time. I don't dislike the the stuff but I prefer real ham.

For whatever reason the people in the state of Hawaii buy more spam than any other state! Not per capita but overall ranking.

I guess I have to post this:

Hey Max, maybe your music appreciation class can study the classic spam song!
