The weather was amazing today It was something like 76 degrees today just 4 degrees below the record. The bad news is that winter is coming. It is supposed to be around 20 degrees on Thanksgiving morning.

I am pondering what project to come up with for the long 4 day weekend. Should it be an El Camino project or a Porsche Project. The advantage of 25+ year old high mileage cars, there is always something to do.

I say split the weekend into 2 2 day projects, share yourself with both cars

I have a feeling that a silver car is going to be ripped to bits in the coming days. :D

My uncle with a prize he recovered at work. He is a firefighter at what was Clinton-Sherman NAS during WWII. Then it was Clinton-Sherman AFB through the '70s. Now they keep a fire dept there so the AF can use the LONG runway for practice.

Good Monday morning.

I am late checking in. I had to WORK first thing this morning. The computer that runs our scanner died this weekend. It will not even boot into BIOS. It just hangs on the bios info line. The good news is we have two other identical computers. I just took the hard drive and the SCSI card that runs the scanner out of that computer and swapped it into the computer that runs the Fax machine. That gets the scanner back to running. Now I have to figure what died on the other computer. My first guess is the power supply.

No. Through some scheduling stuff, I managed to have Monday morning off. Nothing to do. So I took the dog and the son (LAUSD has no school for the entire Turkey week due to furlough days) up into the canyons for a walk. Last weekend we ran into Gwen Stefani (she complimented us on our dog). Today we came across a Spanish-speaking mini-film crew filming something on LA (they were pointing to the Hollywood sign, downtown, Hollywood in general while filming). Latina hosts: Yowsa!

Good morning fellas.

I was up really LATE last night, almost an hour past my bed time. We went to see Jackson Browne. We had VIP passes to go back stage and hang out but he was busy schmoozing with the fans so we we went home before he ever went backstage.

He was in town mostly just talking to the crowd of 350 or so mostly students doing a "master class" about his take on the music industry. UCO has a very unique program that teaches the music industry. Not just how to perform, but the managing, production, and all the other parts of the music industry.

He did perform a few songs. He talked about the process of writing a song and how it evolves into a song. It was an interesting evening.
