Sick, yuck.

I was sick once I did not like it. I don't do that anymore. It is against my religion. It helps a ton not to have have disease ridden kids around at all.

Porsche-poor 09-20-2012 06:44 AM

That would be where I got it........

GH85Carrera 09-20-2012 07:28 AM

Just stay away for kids, that is my plan.

We had some in-law relatives drop by about a year ago. They brought their 18 month old rug rat. I told the mother that our house was 100% NOT kid proof. We have antique valuable breakable stuff within reach and poisons under the not kid safe cabinets. She kept the rug rat in her lap.

In many movies and TV shows a couple meet on the airplane and have an adventure and live happily ever after. I don't fly that often but I have been on many flights. I was always hoping to sit next to some intelligent lady. I almost always had some dude or if it was a female she did not speak English. The only time I sat next to a nice intelligent lady that actually could carry on a conversation was when my wife was on the other side of my seat.

Good morning folks!

I always get the dudes who want to talk the whole flight. Flying is the only time I get quiet time so I sometimes pretend to sleep.

The last flight I was on, I was flying Southwest and a Southwest employee asked me if he could take me out to dinner. Weird. He wasn't part of the flight crew. He gave me his card... Never called him. Nice enough guy. Guess if I was gonna date somebody I met on a plane, it should be an airline employee. Free flights would come in handy in a long distance relationship.

GH85Carrera 09-20-2012 08:16 AM

Oh I feel sure 98% of the airline passengers just want a nice quiet flight and time to read or listen to music and zone out. In the movies & TV it is usually some instant attraction love at first sight romantic adventure.

Are you saying the movies are not real? ;)

Maybe that is why the friendly lonely young Meg Ryan types were never sitting next to me!

crammed that close together, it becomes 'elevator etiquette'. i hate it when someone wants to chat me up on an airplane. i feel trapped. plus, i don't do small talk very well. and my personal space is really about the length of my arms, which are unusually long for my height of 6'1".

GH85Carrera 09-20-2012 08:42 AM

Yea, elevator etiquette is about right.

I have noticed that in most public men's restroom there is no conversation. About all you hear is some dad asking their kid "is everything OK"? through the bathroom stall.

nynor 09-20-2012 08:49 AM

i'll sometimes chat the guy up in the restroom, just to watch him squirm. LOL!

Porsche-poor 09-20-2012 10:08 AM

Pull that stunt and you might get Cheech'd. As in turn 90 degrees and piss on you......

HHI944 09-20-2012 10:52 AM

Wow, I was just allowed on MCRDPI simply by presenting a drivers license........no name cross reference, no pass, no taking down vehicle info....and no inquiry as to the contents of my vehicle..........

GH85Carrera 09-20-2012 11:17 AM

OK I give up what is a MCRDPI?
