Actually, I imagine "giggled" is the word you're looking for.

Sorry if I scared you, Max! Lol! No worries. I would never pursue you. I know you like blondes. Or redheads. ;)

totally not nekkid. Swear!!! All my running skirts are low waisted. I don't like them at mid waist because I get that "muffin top" thing going on and I don't like it. So I like my running skirts to sit low on my hips, below the fat love handles and viola! The muffin top isn't as noticable. Why do you think the low waisted jean is so popular? Less muffin top. ;)

And again, where is Max? I see him on FB but not here. Max, where are you? Does my muffin top scare you? LOL! I am working on getting rid of it....

Nope, low waisted jeans are more popular because of less muffin top. Go out and ask women. I swear! Same thing with yoga pants. I wear them because they are comfortable but because the waist sits low on the hips, less muffin top. I am speaking the truth!

Speaking of young fellas, really guys. Where is max? Is he ok???

Well it is good to see someone missed me. :)

Mmmmm. I like the thought of low-waisted running skirts. Or yoga pants. :) But you are right, Tweeze. For me it is blue eyes. Doesn't really matter the hair color. Something about blue eyes really gets my attention, though.

I waste too much time on PPOT and I spent a week of the last week and a half doing SolidWorks with all my free time (except for my morning bike ride). Then I moved in at school and have been either going to class, cleaning our work area in the hangar, or doing other stuff related to my senior project on the FSAE car suspension. I want to do something very radical so I wanted to have some good progress made before proposing it. I need to work on organizing my defense of the concept and also we need to do some tire testing to have data to support it.

Got a small hang over to show for it...

Did you ever propose to her? You said that if you did not she had a mind to ask you. When's the big day?

I actually just came back here because someone sent me a PM about some Rebel Racing stuff and not an email so I wanted to answer that. See you guys and gals all later. Not sure when. SmileWavy

Nice to see you back. Solid works huh. Can you do the animations?

I wouldn't go there... :D I know the answer to this. :)

Yeah but I usually don't bother. I have so many parts in this model though (even with sub-assemblies) that that may be the only way to get nice, smooth suspension motion. And I only have the front suspension and steering (both sides) in!

Porsche-poor 09-21-2012 08:00 PM

Can one convert autocad solids and shapes to sw files. I have a model that needs to spin.

Flieger 09-21-2012 08:08 PM

I've never tried it. I can veiw this type of universal CAD file .stl or something like that, but not sure I can modify it. You can try it.

It is nice you have been busy!

Flieger 09-21-2012 08:14 PM

OK, STEP file was what I was thinking of. I have a ton of options for saving file types. .stl is for laser etchers and 3D printers and stuff I think. I can also save it as a Pro E or Catia file. But I don't see AutoCAD listed.

Yeah. This project is pretty much my life for the forseeable future. But it is what I am most interested in and comfortable with. I have an advantage in that I have no life besides this other than cycling. So that means lots of time to work on it. I don't have to face the social awkwardness when I am working either alone or with a group of car guys (with the occasional gal thrown in).

GH85Carrera 09-21-2012 08:18 PM

Time for bed. I will get my Elky washed tomorrow. It has been way too long. It is filthy.

Porsche-poor 09-21-2012 08:18 PM

Dwg is the native autocad file format. I'll send one on monday.

Flieger 09-21-2012 08:19 PM

And if any of you guys have some spare carbon fiber, I would appreciate it if you could send it to me. :) I would be most excited to find some unidirectional T1000 fiber but anything helps, even fiberglass. Except Kevlar. :) that stuff isn't nice to work with and doesn't bond well to the resin.

Sounds like the perfect time for a blue eyed girl to walk into you world and mess up your plans. ;)

I was surprised that there are like 4 girls in my vehicle dynamics class. There is a group lab project that we will form teams for on Monday I think. Not sure if any of the girls have blue eyes.

Anyway, kind of just resigned myself to being alone for the next year at least. Still have friends, just nothing more than that.

Auf Wiedersehen. SmileWavy

I can save my files as .dwg so I guess that means I can read them and possibly convert. I thought .dwg was what solidworks drawings were saved as. Anyway, I could make a part if you sent a drawing provided it was not too complex such that it would take all day. How many parts are there in this assembly?

I am also not sure about saving animations. You might need solidworks to view them but I will see what I can do.

Pretty foolish to post your email addy on a public forum. :)

Flieger 09-21-2012 08:26 PM

K, I will take it down. I think he got it, anyway.
