Outback Porsche 10-18-2012 03:22 AM

I'm buggered!

I'm not handling this party week thing any more. I'm tired and I've had enough.

Rick V 10-18-2012 03:48 AM

Hmm, wonder what her tits look like..........................

Morning Y'all

I could not take more than a few minutes of her noise.

GH85Carrera 10-18-2012 05:44 AM

Good morning folks. It looks like I get to teach a customer his job so I can do my job. This guy has an excuse. He is not a surveyor or engineer. Oh well I guess it is my job to teach him how to provide us what I need to do my job.

Porsche-poor 10-18-2012 06:45 AM

azzarule 10-18-2012 06:54 AM

Morning Gents,

well I know I have been remise in not posting anything latesly, but I have just been .................................................. .................................................. ............................. lazy, have been reading though and seeing watchyouallsuptoo, suppose I should say hi, but not working has made me really slack!!!!

Have to re-enter the world, naaaaaa. Have put in a bid on a white 85 Cabriolet on evilbay, red interior looks nice, lets see how we go.
As we have the two coupes already, I thought that we should round it off with a cabriolet, for the Aussie summers, should be cool. Just that it is in the centre of these g.. damm united states, so will have to get it shipped over to Maryland, don't fancy flying over, picking it up and driving it home, just in case it doesn't make it, that would be a real bummer, am a member of AAA but I don't think they would tow it that far!! From Utah to Maryland!!

Watched a few of those chick self videos, I don't resemble those at all, now, too old for the checking onself in the mirror 5hit ... maybe 20 years ago.

The truck had a huge nail in the tire yesterday so had to take it to get fixed, don't think there is anyway I could change a tire on that thing, too heavy for me, again thats why I registred with AAA. Didn't know that here in maryland, it is not allowed to plug tires anymore, they do some sort of patch thing from the inside, not what we do back home in OZ and strange they bought me out two former balance weights that were whizzing around inside the tire from the last tire change (from before we bought it), what the F...K! wondered what the little jingle I would hear every now and again was, and now I know.

anyway time for coffee, hope all are well and enjoying being on the planet

Rick V 10-18-2012 07:01 AM

Azzy, it's good to see you are still among the living.

Glen, I hope you charge extra for the tutorial

Joe, you are never in love, it is called being in heat. :)

GH85Carrera 10-18-2012 07:14 AM

Azzy, it is past time for you to check in.

You should for sure fly out to Utah and drive that 911 home. If the car is in Salt Lake City you can meet up with D, and talk him out of a home brew beer.

We have a modern interstate system here and getting home to Yankee land could be a fun adventure.

azzarule 10-18-2012 07:37 AM

@Glen

Yes the car is in Salt lake City, so maybe, do you really think it would be okay to just jump in and drive cross country in a brand new second hand car ha ha ha. Would love to do that, but the expense as well of the airfares, will have to look at the costs involved with car carriers, but then there is always the damage that they may do.

Porsche-poor 10-18-2012 08:08 AM

The former owner probably ticked off the guy changing the tires so he added a few noise makers.

azzarule 10-18-2012 08:14 AM

Yeah probably,

I went looking for the noise, under the dash etc, couldn't find anything lose, and it wasn't a constant noise, I suppose once the wheels went fast enough they just stayed in one place. Wonder what's in the other wheels. Will maybe find out if I get another nail in a tire, but not something I really want.

Anybody know the 85 cabriolet on ebay?

azzarule 10-18-2012 08:17 AM

also if I get it, the first thing to go will be the stupid tail, I can't stand them, spoils the rear line for me, so will need another grand prix white decklid to change over and still keep the other one, or can i take it off without too much trouble, or will it be fairly scratched up from the tail?

GH85Carrera 10-18-2012 08:19 AM

I can't volunteer Nynor's time or help but he is a nice guy and I bet he would be happy to help you.

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1350573229.jpg

It would be a fun trip to cross all those states. Just over 2,000 miles is a breeze in a 85 911.

I will bet if you go to the 911 technial board & the OT thread and post about planning a trip like that lots of folks on the board across the country will be happy to meet up with you along the way. You could easily make it a 5 day trip with all the stops along the way to meet up with Pelicans.

If the car gets a good Pre Purchase Inspection you should go for it. I just wish the trip took you closer to Oklahoma.

azzarule 10-18-2012 08:23 AM

bloody long way! almost like driving across Australia from pacific to indian ocean, done that a few times, but not in a 911! Might get claustrophobic lol

GH85Carrera 10-18-2012 08:28 AM

I have driven my 911 to both coasts TWICE!

Just this summer I drove up to SLC and drank a beer with Nynor!
