Cell phone bill? Do people still get them? ;)
|
only if you want to use your cell phone.
|
I don't see my cell phone bill. It's work provided. Last month I got bumped up to a 2G data plan. What shocked me more is that it was totally out of the blue. Didn't need to go begging and grovelling to the IT people.
I do see my wifes phone bill though :( |
I see mine cause its not company supplied. Bit of a sticking point when is comes to emails and what not, as in I will not connect it to the company network to get them.
|
So Dave which song of Connors you like best or worst?
|
Good point. The draw back with a company phone - they expect you to contactable 24/7. Including holidays :(

I'm still dying, this persistent cough is really starting to get me down.
I keep feeling like I just aspirated a drink and need to cough it up again, nearly kills me. Can't wait for it to just pi55 off and let me get better. |
Bummer azz. Hope things get better.

It's not the ones that look and act crazy that go off, they are already acting out. Is that seemingly nice friendly guy that snaps and goes postal.
I had a personal cell phone and my work tried to chew my *** out because they couldn't get ahold of me one Saturday. Told them I got the cell phone for my convenience not theirs and it was my personal cell phone. The next day I got a new cell phone that was better than the one I had with an unlimited plan. Needless to say, I killed my personal phone. Just didn't see the sense in carrying two. |

It is amazing but water has been falling from the sky most of today. Slow and steady.

Welcome to Washington.

Morning Y'all

Hi Rick. Are you heading back to Cadillac?

I have been seriously considering changing insurance companies. we have four vehicles and i think we pay about $30/month/vehicle. the only thing that prevents me from changing is that i don't know which company to trust. progressive has been okay, i just think that we pay too much. we haven't had a claim in seven years, IIRC, and that one was small, i just could not afford $700 at the time (really, things were damn tight). we've had one ticket each, the wife and i, in about 14 years.
Is that for liability only or full coverage? Mrs Carrera and I both have perfect driving records. No tickets and no wrecks. The only claim was for the deer that attacked my 911 in Max's part of the world. I have fixed valuation for my 911 and my El Camino. The Elky is worth way more than standard book value. For the 911 I am paying about $25 per month but is is insured as a pleasure only vehicle. I can drive it to work on occasion and if the Elky is in the shop for repair. My wife's car is just a car that can be replaced easily with another appliance car. It is a nice car but still just an appliance. My Elky is the most expensive to insure. It is always a little difficult to figure out my exact cost of insurance for the cars. We have the house and all three cars insured by the same company. They do a automatic bank transfer each month. At the end of the year if we have no claims I get a nice rebate check. Last year it was $800 back to me. The agent has to bring me the paper analog check. He likes going into offices and handing a customer a big check in front of his client's co-workers. With the three cars and the house I pay a decent chunk of change each month but I have high limits and full replacement on the house and contents. |
glen, full coverage, IIRC, $500 deductible. which just made me realize that a $500 deductible on the rover just isn't worth it: the thing is only worth about $1800....
also, the motorcycle is the most expensive of them all to insure: $50/month. i think i am getting ripped off, there. |
Wow, that is a lot for a motorcycle. The guy I work with has a motorcycle and it is like $12 per month.
We do have $1,000 deductible on our policy. We do work for several LARGE corporations and the bureaucracy in large companies is often silly. They insist on having a copy of our company car insurance coverage. We don't have a company car, never have and likely never will. We have a company airplane that never comes in contact with their property. Several thousand other airplanes fly over their property evey year as well. One company just insisted we send them proof of insurance for the company car. Finally my co-worker just grabbed one for his personal car. After a year they insisted we send them the updated proof of insurance. He had just received a card from his insurance for his daughters Vespa scooter. We sent that in as the company car insurance proof. |
