Morning Y'all

Back from dinner - the Vans now have beer stains. Perfectly worn in :D

Rick V 02-09-2013 06:06 AM

RKDinOKC 02-09-2013 06:07 AM

Have a good day, guys/gals. I'm off to go figure out where this wretched water is getting into my newly carpeted car at. :(

Rick V 02-09-2013 06:10 AM

Make sure to check the firewall behind the battery.

Jferr006 02-09-2013 06:24 AM

Rick, is that a typical problem? What's the best way to diagnose? Te water IS all on the passenger side and its settling in the back so I know it's gravity fed not dripping on(I thought it was the sunroof but have eliminated that).

Jferr006 02-09-2013 06:25 AM

Best way to patch a crack?

Rick V 02-09-2013 06:28 AM

That is a typical issue, the drains get clogged and overflow.
Where is this crack you speak of? My answer is dependent on the location

Jferr006 02-09-2013 06:32 AM

I haven't found the crack yet but, it looks like I'm missing a piece. Ill send you a pic on fb. There's a huge gap between the hood and windshield of course water is getting in.

Sounds like a tube of silicone is going to appear in your near future

tweezers74 02-09-2013 06:42 AM

Good morning! Pole dancing and sushi day! So excited! Made cupcakes last night too. It's gonna be a good day! :)

Urethane will seal better and last longer..... Just sayin....

Just don't get any on you, or your clothes!

Rick V 02-09-2013 06:48 AM

True sid but for the purposes of testing the repair silicone is easier. No sense in spending urethane money on a test smear
