It is easy to ice fish. Fill a cooler with ice, then throw in some fish.

RKDinOKC 03-25-2013 06:01 AM

Oh, you meant fishing in an ice hole..

Morning guys. Interesting discussion this AM. I've got nothing to add.

Porsche-poor 03-25-2013 06:54 AM

Moning. Yep I got nothing either.

fintstone 03-25-2013 07:39 AM

Four hours later.., my feet will be dry soon. Gotta love the weather here.

I just had the 'president' of a company I attempted to do business with tell me to 'go to hell'.....real classy. And he's a 54 year old man whose facebook profile picture is Scarface...

Jim Richards 03-25-2013 08:44 AM

That's classy

fintstone 03-25-2013 08:48 AM

No kidding...I would never say that. I usually say "bite me" or..."with due respect, F off and die."

Men in their 50s just don't seem to have any class these days.

Jim Richards 03-25-2013 08:50 AM

Yep.

fintstone 03-25-2013 09:01 AM

I wrote an article on our agency that was very positive...showed how we were saving the taxpayer big money. Had to send it through Public Affairs to be cleared to publish. They rejected because it was too positive. Nothing wrong with facts, etc. What a waste of my time. Now I have to rewrite it and make it less positive. Sheesh.

RKDinOKC 03-25-2013 09:32 AM

There IS a point you reach when the BS just ain't worth the trouble and despite how sincere the delivery person is it is just easier to dismiss the whole thing with a good "Go to hell" or "F U" instead of dragging things on trying to be polite. I am 53.

GH85Carrera 03-25-2013 09:37 AM

I am out of court and back in jeans & t-shirt. Ahhhh

Jim Richards 03-25-2013 09:46 AM

My "work uniform" here at the house is a grubby tshirt and jeans.

That is my work outfit all winter. Shorts in the summer. My wife makes me get new jeans when the pockets get all frayed or holes in the knees.

HHI944 03-25-2013 10:19 AM

I definitely can understand the attitude under some circumstances, but in this one he was pissed at me because I cancelled an order after receiving my first that was only 1/3 the product I paid for and only 1/3 of that legal to sell in the US. I just wasn't willing to piss away anymore cash

GH85Carrera 03-25-2013 10:58 AM

Joe, that sounds like you are trying to be logical and reasonable. How is the guy gonna make a big profit if you do that?

RKDinOKC 03-25-2013 11:35 AM

Oh, well then...F him.

I wore shorts out to run an errand today and it was 36°F.

GH85Carrera 03-25-2013 12:39 PM

All the fishing disscussion brings up this:

It is a facebook video. The sound ain't great but it has some funny conversation. This is redneck fishing.

F him is right. ...
I filed a BBB complaint, a complaint with the attorney general in his state, alerted the CPSC to the illegal to sell product, have the fire inspector doing a surprise inspection of the warehouse I saw (horribly cluttered) and I wrote an email to his rabbi

Its Monday and I'm home sick and bored.....

Porsche-poor 03-25-2013 01:14 PM
