I'll ask Beth if I can have one

Rick V 03-24-2013 02:10 PM

Ouch!!

Rick V 03-24-2013 02:11 PM

I guess not

Porsche-poor 03-24-2013 02:15 PM

Same here. I need an ice pack.

Rick V 03-24-2013 02:21 PM

I have a spare snow shovel you can use

Porsche-poor 03-24-2013 02:23 PM

Nope not this year. I have yet to shovel snow why start now.

Rick V 03-24-2013 02:26 PM

Looks like I may be shoveling tomorrow morning before heading to work, if the shop is open, and if I have the energy to do it

Stijn!!

Just got back from a drive up Ortega Highway to Lake Elsinore. :D :D :D

Time to wash the Washington, DC off of her. :D

Rick V 03-24-2013 02:42 PM

I think you might need brillo to get the DC off of anything

Morning All.

Yawn... Busy weekend prepping the trailer and camping gear, and has worn me out. I need another day in the weekends. Consolation is that I've extended this next weekend by a couple of days to make up for it. I'm looking forward to going walkabout for a few days.

4x4 is in the shop today getting some loving (leaking front diff drive shaft, front rotors machined, and that steering damper replaced), hopefully that goes well.

Jim, the queen is beautiful. Glad she arrived okay.

Rick V 03-24-2013 03:43 PM

Morning Jeff.
I had a three day weekend (due to illness) and it might be a four day weekend due to weather

Outback Porsche 03-24-2013 03:51 PM

How ya feeling there Rick, all recovered? I hate throwing up. Nothing worse in my book.

I'm going for a three day working week and following it up with a six day weekend. ;)
The forecast is for low 30's (celsius) where we're going. Not sure if it'll be warm enough for swimming in the waterhole, but I'll get some fishing in. The waterhole is full of spangled perch.

Rick V 03-24-2013 04:00 PM

Doing fine Jeff, thanks.
Fishing is fun even in a pond with no fish. :)

Jim Richards 03-24-2013 04:21 PM

Stijn!!

Yep

Thats good. :)

I'm in agreement about the fishing. Not much more relaxing (or entertaining when they're on). I wish I could get to do it more sometimes.

Outback Porsche 03-24-2013 04:27 PM

G'day Jim

Rick V 03-24-2013 04:37 PM

I live within a mile of some of the best small mouth bass fishing in the state and I never seem to find the time to go wet a line anymore

Rick V 03-24-2013 04:56 PM

Well all the schools around here have already closed tomorrow.
I just love spring

Outback Porsche 03-24-2013 05:35 PM

Look on the bright side, you get a day off school tomorrow. :D

I was just having a peek at the latest forecast, the boffins are scheduling thunderstorms and heavy rain for Thursday and Friday up where we are planning to be. :(

Heavy storms around these parts close roads too (flash flooding).:(
