slodave 02-24-2010 01:17 AM

We gotta do something about this...

Rick V 02-24-2010 01:18 AM

please don't start messing with the space/time continuum without using your seatbelt

Geronimo '74 02-24-2010 01:28 AM

last time i checked, MS doesn't give a rats ass wether or not you use the server in a domain enviroment or not... a client connection is a client connection and as such requires a CAL.

And get this, if you got a webserver , serving 5000 unique browser clients, technically you'de need to get 5000 cals. Nuckin futs is the term you're looking for...So if you want to fill in 10 000 cals.. you can...

Real world... whatever legal risk you feel comfortable with...the CAL thing is just a number you enter upon installation, it's not like it requires you to install license keys for em..

slodave 02-24-2010 02:36 AM

That's what I remember... :) Thanks.

ARP rodbolts, 249€
I thought they would cost more.

Rick V 02-24-2010 03:22 AM

we can make them more spendy, I'll tell ya what, I will supply them to ya, how's that sound?

Geronimo '74 02-24-2010 04:12 AM

ok, but I'm paying for shipping, or no deal.... :p

Rick V 02-24-2010 04:12 AM

You gonna be back on the road in time for the spring?

Geronimo '74 02-24-2010 04:36 AM

Hmmm, doubtful.
While I'm in theres are killing me....
But time I have plenty, funds I lack... (not really lacking but I could use a lot more...)

RKDinOKC 02-24-2010 04:55 AM

While your in there....

Makes me think of Sterling Gee, a guy in Dallas with a 928. He got caught up in the while you are in theres rebuilding the motor. His 928 is now 6.7 bored and stroked with a cemented block (filled in the lower part of the water jacket for more strength), 968 head with working vario cam adjustable valve timing, individual throttle bodies for each cylinder, custom Fiske wheels and wide body to fit hugely wide tires, custom interior, and a beautiful paint job. I personally saw him beat the heck out of a Nissan GTR stop light racing. It did take him like 7 years before getting it finished.

Gotta be real careful with those while you are in theres.

I'm just a punk livin in the 90's

In the year and a half that her car has been in my garage I have driven it three times. Once was at the autocross. It's a very nice car, but it's just another car. You can see lots of cars just like it on the road every day.

Found it:

The one and only 928SG with variocam timing!

svandamme 02-24-2010 09:48 AM

there's another one that did the 968 on 928S4 thing, and then the turbo'ed it as well.
it's a sick and twisted hobby , this Porsche thing.

porsche4life 02-24-2010 09:53 AM

928 owners are their own breed of sick and twisted... that 7ft long timing belt must throw off some weird fumes......
